Hey I really enjoy your reviews and they have gone a long way in giving me that final push towards ordering my ZRV. I especially liked your driver headspace demonstration indicating an impressive 6200 miles to the edge of the exosphere - with an open sunroof LOL. Seriously, I really enjoy your reviews so keep them coming, wishing you the best and that its all clear to the left
You certainly have our sayings down pat, lol! So glad you enjoyed the review, @user-hk2ih2vp9j. There’s more to come, and a new EV road trip coming this weekend. Thank you! *A
Thank you for a very thorough review. I’m arranging a test drive with a view to buying one. Originally, I was looking for an ev, but after concerns with range anxiety, I decided to look elsewhere. Then I spotted this. It seems to offer the best of both worlds. My only concern is that I’ve always tended to have sporty ish cars. So if the performance is adequate there’s a high likelihood that this is the car for me. Thank you.
@@PlanetautoUK How was seat comfort for the long trip? Noted lack of lumbar support but know Honda normally comfy - keen to avoid back pain on longer journeys
Yes they’re impressive but like everything build quality had more to it in the earlier years, our 1999 Civic has soft touches where you’d find hard in modern models.
Rotary dials 😊😊😊😊😊 don't have to go through the touch screen to access climate control etc👌strange omission.no grab handles 🤔looks a usual Honda quality interior 👌 excellent review on what looks a pretty decent offering from Honda planet auto 🚘 🎉
@PlanetautoUK plus its the best car I've ever had. The spec is epic, and I've only ever seen two others on the road, so we're in an exclusive club 🤪 as it turns heads, especially in the blue I've got
@PlanetautoUK 3 adults.. I love the hrv and have ordered one...but I'm worried whether the zrv would be better🤔 Which one do you think has the better space, better feel, especially around town and motorway driving. Which one would you say that in the long run I will be more happier with? Which one is more superior? The hrv I have noticed has many complaints about the noisy engine and lack of power...is it exaggerated? I'm just a little confused after seeing your review of the zrv as to whether I am making the right choice...sorry for asking so much questions...I just want to make the right choice😂
@nigeltaylor926 makes perfect sense Nigel, the ZR-V essentially is a Civic SUV, I think that should answer your question - test drive one and come back to us, when we went to Silverstone it was a joy. Economy won’t be as good as the smaller HR-V however it’s a compromise I’d make.
I find it tricky to understand the hybrid concept and how it relates to fuel savings. Also the switching from petrol to EV when you’re driving…And the significance of the floppy paddles, when to use them and their benefits.
To be honest, if you let it do it all it’s straight forward, essentially if you don’t drive hard the transition to ev is far more frequent meaning using less fuel. Paddles- light regen as in automatically barely braking to coast therefore barely using charge, yet not charging efficiently either | heaviest regen hard braking used on down hills to recoup the battery allowing more ev range - paddle modes lighter / heavier braking essentially. Best bet test drive one and play, that’s how we learnt John
Thing is, the prices of all vehicles have gone way up over the past few years, but when you think of the technological advancements you get, most of them are good value for money. It would be nice to see Honda’s e:nY1 come down a bit though. Thank you.
I had a test drive last week at a Honda dealership, and the Advance model I drove had the blind spot facility. The sales person told me that there was a shortage of a certain chip that meant that Honda couldn’t deliver on that function. I’m still going to get one though.
The boot lid folds up and then can be stored under the boot floor, that's what the gap under the floor is for.
Thank you, @philiprobbins - sometimes it's the little things that trip you up!

Looking forward to that one buddy@@PlanetautoUK
It should be this evening Roger 😀

Thank you for the kind words, I enjoyed it, it’s quick enough and feels Civic like, would you like to see our road trip in this?

@TheFrag72 myself and Annabelle both felt comfortable and relaxed during and after we arrived 😀
@@PlanetautoUK I will definitely check out your road trip, thank you. You have a new subscriber.
@66lesjo thank you, that’s great to hear enjoy ☺️
Just picked up mine on Friday. Covered 1200km back home. So far good but see lower assembly quality compared to my made in Japan old Accord 2009.

Great review guys , could you please review the new Megane e tech
We’re trying to get it 😀
I am handing my megane etech back next week and swapping for one of these. The megane is so low and no good for my missus but a superb car!
Oh, that’s a shame, what’s next?
@PlanetautoUK this ZR-V advance in the blue. Picking it up next week and I can't wait!!
@johnmorris6344 very nice, you’re the 2nd to choose one of these tonight 😀 thank you for coming back

Glad you enjoyed it, David. The lack of grab handles is so weird though…🫣
Ive had mine since February 1st and just done over 3k miles getting over 500 miles per tank 👍
Now that’s what we like to hear 😀 thank you Mark

Hrv or zrv..which would you recommend?
I'm not sure which one
How much room do you need Nigel?

I chose the zrv😊
@nigeltaylor926 excellent, enjoy Nigel and thank you for reporting back

it's a nice car, test drove one.
suspension is a bit on the firm side and price, well, it's a bit too much for being a honda.

Are you certain that it has Blind Spot warning? Please respond.
Ours did, as did all other test cars in UK reviews, that’s not to say the specs have changed.
Blind spot warning has been removed
I had a test drive last week at a Honda dealership, and the Advance model I drove had the blind spot facility. The sales person told me that there was a shortage of a certain chip that meant that Honda couldn’t deliver on that function. I’m still going to get one though.
Ah thank you for the update guys
Honda equals good . Petrol engine 🥳 . Too dark inside, lighter colour an option? Way better than that Hyundai monstrosity the other week .
Steady on, Richard! That Hyundai was lovely 😊 glad you enjoyed the review
Honda also equals quality and longevity that few others can match. Talking from experience.
Yup Japan know what they’re doing Richard
he gushed soooo much about the car I thought he was going to ask for a date!
You think that’s gushing watch the i8 - it’s a great SUV drive one and you’ll understand
A very bland looking car in my eyes.
Beauty is subjective, we like its clean design.
