- This time, an acquaintance's designer got married
and brought a design drawing of the bed frame.
I've never made something like this, but I'm going to
make it somehow just for celebration!
When it comes to a queen size bed frame, It’s really
large!
The room is full!

He actually made sure it will endure a life of a "newly-wed" 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow this is beautiful, thank you for great upload.
"I am sure it will endure the life of newlywed" 😂 good one, but dont be too sure and you better keep those plans handy, just in case
Japanese women are not particularly known to have group sex with large number of black guys on their bed after their wedding though
Hahahaha that comment had me cracking up
Only if it was oak. Cedar will break especially if newlyweds are going to use it!
Master Shoyan, you are Japans national treasure!!!
so informative, so humble, so skilled; I thank you!
It is very relaxing to watch Shoyan's videos. I marvel at his abilities. To all those people that build things, much respect.
Very cool.
I can only imagine the cost for that wood nowadays though, wow
Thank you from London
I'm finally moving into my first home, so I will be building this for my bedroom!
Thank you so much for the English uploads! I'm a furniture builder, but I've become enamored with Japanese carpentry. The techniques, the tools, the tradition, and the spirit...the Japanese truly make carpentry an artistic craft, mastering elegant simplicity.
How did it go?
curious myself, how did it go?
@@JohnDoe-yq9rt It went very very well, looks gorgeous! Wish I could upload some pictures.

@@bryanstellfox8521 did you use the video for blueprints?
This video turns out to be 1 of content have been wanting to see. My queen bed is on the typical metal frame and the height of the mattress is is over 2 1/2 feet high. This is something that has been on my mind of going with instead. The cedar wood is a nice choice the scent of the wood and natural grains really make the frame stand out.
Thank you so much for the English translation. I live in Japan and trying to make a queen size bed. This is perfect!
I enjoy watching your English channel. I learn a great deal watching your wonderful craftsmanship. That is a beautiful simple design, very well made with great materials.
I love the wood! The design is really beautiful. Your joinery is very appealing as well. Thank your for the video.
I'm sorry sorry I can't speak Japanese. Thank you for the very enjoyable videos. I'm an American carpenter, it's interesting to see what we do the same and what we do differently.
Clean and very sturdy!
Nice work, love the bees wax finish!
TOP QUALITY ‼️ MASTER CRAFTSMAN ‼️ ENJOY YOUR CHANNEL, THANK YOU ‼️ Vinny 🇺🇸
How thoughtful to use beeswax to finish a newlywed's bed. Fitting for a honeymoon!
Another beautiful project. Now I have an idea for my new bed. ありがとう
This is the most beautiful bed I’ve ever seen! Is that called a hand planner what he is using to shave to wood?
Another Masterclass.

What kind of price are you paying for cedar like that? It looks incredible.
It’s a Japanese Cedar that has low instances of knots. It is beautiful to look at for sure.
Hi, what is the wood edged do you use ?
👍
Could i please get the used blueprint somehow?🙏🏼
What kind of wood did you use for it?
What kind of planer is that

FYI you might want to say “knot” instead of “knag” because knag is an obsolete/archaic word
Google translate lol
Don’t be a nag
I might be wrong, but he's forgotten more than you will ever know.
@@deanaf this is a language barrier issue not a skill issue.
