- Civil engineering 3D Animation of a reinforced concrete structure.
It shows the chronological order of the construction phase of a multi story building.
This animation was part of my final year thesis in Civil Engineering. It was developed to try and help students have a better concept of the construction phase of a building. The model was done using 3D stuido max and edited using after effects
Totally enormous. 3D animation is indeed an advance way to design multi-story building structure. I really like the constructive work has been done through that animation video.
very, very good, muy buen trabajo, muchas gracias por compartir sus conocimientos de construcción, continúen subiendo más videos, son de gran utilidad.
2yrs after and happen to watch this video to clear my doubts on certain things. thanks !
Thanks for nicely putting the junction reinforcement , with so much clarity ...
absolutely love it, Thanks a bunch @Jake, following ur channel
that was quite amazing... but we should include pipe embedments for electrical system before slab is poured with concrete.
Run the electrical through above ground insulated conduit
My students love this animation in the first concrete design class
Awsm video .. too good.. Thanks a lot
your welcome
there should be alot of person like you.. thank you
The best animation, thanks for sharing....Salute just for up loader
Awesome, Thank you James
thank you. it really helped me to clear my concepts.
great video and very exhaustive!
very nice designed and detailed video , thank you so much
Thanks you James Burk
is the 1st floor beam in condition of fixed or simply supported as the beam and column cast separately?
Thank you for this. I like it.
Excellent!
Perfect...!!!
Good construction and engineering.
very nice and very detail! thanks
good information for building construction
Rebars are usually 20ft length, is it necessary to use multiple joined rebars than a whole long one for the columns?
thank you very much
can you add something about grade beam
Excellent presentation. What is the PC configuration used for making this Animation??
Thamks for uplod this
fine and helpful. thanks guys
Awesome video.wonderful job done.only show tie beam and plinth beam.baaki bahut badhiya kaam kiya hai
How and when are the internal concrete walls done?
2:31 is that small square form at the center necessary? That small elevated square concrete
for someone with minimal experience using video editing, how long do you think this took? I'm hoping to do something similar at some point with proj. But I'd like to see if its a realistic goal
good work
how to create vedio and what programe to build. I like to study thanks.
this is so cool!
super it is yery exiting
Can you use adobe brick instead of concrete for the pillars.
Cool storeys bro.
very useful,thanks
which software is best for learning?
v/good for learners
very beautifully designed and detailed video , thank you so much.
i wonder where i can find information about the size of the bars, height of column, span of the beam and how wide my slabs can be between the beams.
+Faleh alarabi you can you a book called detailing of structural members which has tables or use a design software like staad rcdc...
Hi Vaishak , thanks for the reply , would that software tell me how much reinforcements I need in my beams and columns? I'm planning to build a simple house for the family but not too familiar with the span of the slaps or how many columns and beams I'll need.
+Faleh alarabi Depends on the complexity of the house you are talking about...these softwares are for framed structures...in houses we use simply supported slabs and beams whose reinforcement details could be calculated manually by an engineer...
Vaishak Krishnan thanks sar

I was going to ask about shear reinforcement, but I realized half way through that you were only doing this for visual display. Great job! Do you work on many BIM projects? If not, you should. Again, great work!
This is very good
that was pretty cool....But i was wondering about the plinth beam...how about it..?
its excellent. Can you design a piece of animation showing a worse case scenario of collapsing buildings during an earthquake withe waves inundating a city and traveling upstream of rivers. I am working on a preparedness documentary and need this type of animation.
very good.
I now understand how a multi level home is constructed
plese ansr me 2 roop building how long foundation death?
It seems like the first (ground) level pillars should be linked between each other
very good
Thank u boss
Merci pour tout les édité de you tube
Plinth Beams are missing, is design like that or forgot to show?? anyways great vedio, thanks!!
What about foundation piling?
Its very impressive and selective one.
nice :)
Why i cant download this video via IDM
Hi! Can I use this video for a school video Im making? I'll give you credits!
Amazing video.... which software you used for making this video ?
3Ds Max
Mona Cityhomes
.
niceeee
what software did you use ?
3Ds Max
Why the other beam is square then the other is rectangular?
Cool
Can i use thise vidéo ?
you missed plinth beam and tie beam
ela
I'm.looking fantastik diginer drwing
I like no ads video
what program did you use to create this?
adope after effects I think
2 roop building minimum how long foundation death
where is the ground beam which connect the pillars at foundation level
Great vid though I do feel a commentary would've been perfect!

i like the animation it helps alot but there are no dimensions like lenght, hight width and so on so try to be more specific
Nice animation. But you have missed some points, such as tie beam, stair case. For a multi stories building stair case is essential. All the laps are coming to a same point, which is harmful for structure. Still a thumbs up for you... 👍
the clipings are useful
Where is ground level beam and also plinth?
sir upload a video how to make this animation in max
Septic tank?
Is reality ?
footing&colm
nice
isn't it !! :p
I DOWNLOAD THIS VIDEO
Hi can we share our video's
Not glound beam ?
This building was not designed to have a ground beam. The columns were designed to sit on a pad foundation which takes taking the load. After the structure is complete a concrete floor is added but is not structural.
Where is plinth beems .
not bad
Dat shallow foundation tho.
:)
braces or clamps spacing incorrect
Pouce bleu si t'es là grâce à Quang N'guyen
Hmmm
4TXTV
TOTALY WRONG WHERE IS THE PLITH BEAM
None
Uhmm? This was not presented by the James Burke we know. No narration? What is that about? You have an audience so why not pass some educational material?? Very weak video!
