Got to love the Sand Snakes. They want revenge on the people who killed some Martells and in order to accomplish this, they'll kill all the remaining Martells.
When we started this show, you were such a sweet young girl. Now you laugh at a mother that looses her child. You are no longer a sweet summer child. Winter has come. Welcome to the family where we condone murder, mutilation, executions, misery and even incest as we have been so desensitized that nothing really hits home anymore. Welcome my winter-woman.
That place where Cersei went to greet Myrcella was where I swam two years ago! :) Dubrovnik, Croatia- also known as King's Landing :) it was awesome, I went to all the locations where they shot the scenes, so cool!
The no one waif was always on my list. She was jealous of Arya from the start. The No Name/No One man really likes Arya and the waif feels the connection. She was a brut to Arya from day one. Hate her. Although I must be honest and say, she is a badass.
"That thing had sex with Stannis." "Thing" ? My man, that's what old people look like. That's going to be your mom, your girlfriend and your kids. There's nothing monstrous about people, that's just life. I remember a lot of garbage ageism when this episode came out.
True, the body is actually a real female body. An old lady stood in as body double, an then they edited Carice van Houten's face with prosthetics onto that. While the mystery of the scene does indeed make her true appearance very creepy, the body in itself isn't monstrous; it's just a natural old body.
I love how Hogwarts just laughs at the thought of Cersei finding out Myrcella is dead and I laughed so much at Hogwarts reaction to the red witch! So much fun, as usual ^^
I admire the fighting spirit in Brienne and her unfailing loyalty to whomever she gives her vows and that moment when she gave her vows to Sansa is so beautiful! Hanna's long gasp and that double take reaction to Melisandre's true image was so funny! hahaha!
Hahahahaha Hogwarts : "It's soooo big! Is he gonna give it to him?" Brian : "That would be cool :)" Classic. Another great reaction! I really can't think of anything other than you vehemently shaking your head no during that whole reveal at the end. I am literally dying of laughter hahahahahaha. I loved how excited you got for Brienne, that was pretty special lol. There are so many moments I can't wait to see for season 6. I cannot wait!!!!!!
You do know that that was actually Carice Van Houten, the actress heself, in heavy prosthetics, and make-up and not some old crone they found to be her body-double, right?
Not true. The face was of a make-up'ed Carice Van Houten, the body was from an 80 year-old body-double. Somewhat like Cersei's walk of shame. www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2016/04/28/how-old-is-melisandre-how-important-is-her-necklace-and-is-she-t/
George rr Martin said that melissandre is the most misunderstood character of the story. So obviously she knows more than we know! She is several of hundreds years old. What does that mean? Maybe she has witnessed the doom of valeria or something else possibly. Sorry for my english. Not my first language.
I think she'll really love this season with all the good things that happen for the Starks. I'm really looking forward to seeing her reaction to Jon, i threw my hands straight up in the air and yelled "YEEEEEAAAHHHH!!!"
So my question for the end of season 6 Q&A is for the rest of the gang: How hard was it to not spoil it for Hanna? Like when Ned died to say something like "You think this is bad, just wait" or when Jon died and she was upset to tell her that it would be alright? Or when she make a prediction that was either right or wrong to not say anything?
I really like Melisandre's character. I don't agree with her actions, but I like her character. Especially this season, where she is confronted with the thought that her faith might be wrong... that for the centuries she's sacrificed people she might've been doing it in vain. I really like the humbled Melisandre and the idea that the Red Priestess' are century-old hags in disguise. Terrifying, but cool.
One of my FAVORITE moments of GoT. I went from utterly despising Melisandre to being more fascinated by her than any other character on the entire show. Also.... the music.
Honestly Melisandre's reveal is one of my favorite scenes in GOT. It was eerie, unexpected, and left sooo many open questions. The music really makes the scene too. Ramin Djawadi is my favorite musical artist ever
The question is why Melisandre is the way she is. She removed the necklace and she became her true self. Then again she was without her necklace in season 2 when she was talking to Selise and she wasnt old. Maybe it has to do with her losing her faith or self doubt?
In that scene the only person there was Selise, by the way she reacted to Stannis fucking Melissandre which was pretty weird, I assume she had always seen Melisandre true from, so it was only us the spectators who still saw Mel’s young body. Maybe the writters of the show didn’t knew by that point yet
I see. Int. I didnt get the last sentence though. Knew what. You mean they hadnt decided fully about Melisandre. I doubt that, since Martin was writing the episodes with them at that point. Either way Melisandres story is one of the most interesting ones. I so want to know more the may faced god and the lord of light and the walkers etc. The mystery is exciting but we do need to know more.
It says in the books that she uses potions to glamor herself and in that scene with Selise she has her fetch a potion for her bath. Mance Raydor isn't dead in the books yet. Mel has the lord of bones take a glamor of Mance before he goes into the fire to take Mance's place. She then glamors Mance to lead a rescue mission to save fake Arya not knowing that Arya is a fake. Sansa took fake Arya's role in the show.
I wouldn't read too much into it. It doesn't really matter in the show at all, and I'm fairly certain the showrunners just thought it would make for a creepy visual to end an episode on. This is season six, after all. They're pretty much on their own at this point, doggy paddling in the deep end with only a very small amount of guidance from GRRM (they have said that he only revealed three major plot points to them). In the books she is implied to use glamours to alter her appearance, but there's also no indication that she's actually a 200 year old hag or anything like that, at least not yet.
I think it's an erroneous assumption that she needs to actually be wearing the necklace for the glamour to be active. The necklace is a focus for her power, not the source. Why isn't it plausible that she could still be using it if it's sitting on a table next to her. The point here is that she was removing the necklace with the intent to release the glamour. The actions are connected in this moment by Mel's motivation, but that doesn't mean that they necessarily have a cause/effect relationship.
I laugh at those who are so creeped out at Mel's old body, there go we all eventually, trust me. Our youthful bodies don't last forever eventually gravity takes over, male or female, you live long enough.....well. LOVED this reaction and also the gift video, I've been waiting to send a little something something....you have no idea how hard it is to find a postcard here and online is ridiculous. But I am going to try my hand at "hand crafting" one for you. See you on Wednesday.
haha it does seem that postcards are out of fashion these days, ya handcrafted is great! or even just a picture, we're not picky we just love everything we get from you. guys!
Ookamino...nothing unreasonable there!! I tried, it didn't work. Now in my 60's and shocked to be here quite frankly. But, I do the best with what I have. I reckon you will too.
It's absolutely painful to have to wait for each episode...Hogwarts react is so fucking entertaining, if you were to make it a DVD collection with the extras...I would buy it....it's like watching a comedy, this is so different than anything else on Utube!
I've been trying to figure out why reaction videos are so interesting. The only thing I can think of is that it is a way to recapture some of the feeling of watching the show for the first time again. Or for those who read the books to glimpse how people who did not read the books first react to the show fresh and unencumbered with expectations. I read the books so on the one hand I am sad that I didn't get that first time show experience, but on the other hand I got the fresh experience with the books which have a lot more depth so perhaps I'm just whining I didn't get to have my cake and eat it too. Either way, there is something captivating about *good* reactions, and something magical about great reactions. So I guess what I am trying to say is Hannah is magical! Much
To be fair, I should have been clear that the whole gang makes the channel what it is. It's just all centered around how expressive Hannah is and how adept the rest of you have become at pressing her buttons in the most hilarious ways =)
The necklace glowed when she drank poison in episode 1 season 2. She went nude I the bath with Stannis ‘ wife, but that can be explained by the oils she used for her bath.
I love her expression at 0.53 mark, when she sees Cersei saying 'maybe I'm not a monster', she's clearly feeling that incredible monologue from Lena Heady. I love to see Hannah torned in this Cersei moments, wish you could show more of her reaction in this moments. But you did post that long scene between Sansa and Brienne, so it´s fine.
Yes! "Conan Goes The Full Melisandre". Watching this video I was thinking, Melisandre climbs into bed, pulls up the blanket, then...KNOCK KNOCK "Room Service!"
They literally just wiped out the last of the Martells, why would think that Oberyn would've been okay with them killing his own brother and nephew lol This Dorne plot was horribly executed. Lol I would've rathered they went to Starfall or something.
Marley Mal it would have been better with Quentin and Arrianne. But once you get rid of young grif, dorne is superfluous. Oberyn was cool and the show wanted more of that. But they didn't cast the sand snakes well and they wasted doran. He didn't even get to make the fire and blood speech...
Dorne went over like a lead balloon in Season 5, and so they likely said "fuck this, no one likes these characters, anyway," and then went about killing all of them off over the next 2 seasons. Yeah, it was poorly done, but at the very least, they didn't try to make something where there was nothing.
Yep a total fail by the writers, Oberyn was a complete badass and his character was so incredibly great, the expectations for Dorne were super high and they just absolutely failed to deliver.
“Does that mean something to us”? It certainly means something to Gendry, I guess he won’t be boasting to the boys down the tavern about losing his virginity to a 400 year old woman! 😂🤣😂🤣
Hogwarts: "Is he gonna give it to him?" Brian: "That would be cool." Oh bless you, Brian. That was hilarious and poor Hogwarts didn't catch that at all.
The Red Woman has always intrigued me from the beginning. Never thought she was evil just always misreading the signs not quite on the same page as her Red God. All The Red Women want to do right just some get it really wrong. Footnote : Some awsm fortune telling by Hannah in this episode almost Red Witch category. Lol
Yea, fun thing is that everything Mel have seen up to now was going to happen. It's just her interpretation of events which was wrong, but events themselves were going to happen.
Jay J pretty sure no one has forgotten that. people just understand that he'd rather have one random kid he doesn't know die instead of all his own children. it's still a bad thing to do, but it doesn't make him evil. you can never say that someone is wrong for not hating someone else.
So many good episodes this season. Can't wait for 6x02, 6x04, 6x05, 6x06, the cold open for 6x07, 6x09, and all of 6x10. Good heavens, what an amazing season. There are some stinkers in there and mishandled moments, but overall great.
My only wish from Brian is to keep most of that sweet Sansa-Theon scene in episode 2. In my opinion, it's one of the more touching small moments of the entire series.
3:40 Brian you horrible man! A man was about to calm down, find some peace and get rdy for bed-time. Why would you dare to wake the faceless dragon?! xD do not worry, keep up the good editing!
I love how Hogwarts hates Cersei :D it brings a smile on my face because I hate Cersei so much. None of my friends watch Game of thrones so they woud not understand the hate I have for Cersei 😂
Elizabitty213 I am askig myself the same question 😁 once we had an English class and the teacher wrote "You know nothing" on the blackboard and I immediately said "You know nothing, Jon Snow" and nobody knew what I was talking about 😂
I'm apparently 2 years later finding this, but I love it. I have a question. What priest at about 10:00 was he referring to? I'm confused. Watched all of the show, but I'm confused now...
I have watched almost all of the "Reactors" of GOT on You Tube. Most are good and many are poorly done and don't deserve a spot here and a re-watch is never going to happen. However there are three that standout above everyone else, Jody's Corner, American Mum (now Southern Mum), and you Hanna/Hogwarts. Your reactions have been the most entertaining to watch to date (at least for me). I have "subbed", and have re-watched every one of your postings. Well done and thank you....LUV
Santino001 Vileno o you are so sweet! Thanks for this wonderful comment! We wouldn't be here without my amazing friend working so hard to film and edit! I'm sooo glad you're enjoying it
Got to love the Sand Snakes. They want revenge on the people who killed some Martells and in order to accomplish this, they'll kill all the remaining Martells.
They want to avenge oberyn but go and kill the last of his house and family lmao
and as a book reader, i was SO EXCITED for the dorne storyline 😒
"Its sooooo BIG!"
""Thats what she said"
"Is he gonna give it to him?"
LMAO
that would be cool lol
Jacob Hernandez loved it! I thought the same thing!
Jacob Hernandez That was a bit naughty!
No matter how much I hate Cersei, I always feel bad for her when she runs to welcome Myrcella and well, you know..
me too.
Lord Ramsay Bolton I feel bad for Myrcella. Cercie nope hahaha
I felt bad for Jaime. I 100% wanted Cersei to suffer.
Cason Huffman me too hahaha
Slenderfoxx37 Same here, sad for poor Myrcella, don't give a f**k for Cersei.
"What the heck" was the best phrase to match the ending of the dorne storyline
Hogearts' reaction to Melisandres true form was priceless.
When we started this show, you were such a sweet young girl. Now you laugh at a mother that looses her child. You are no longer a sweet summer child. Winter has come. I love how bitter she is about Jons death xD
The Waif has finally joined a list!
HODOR
The no one waif was always on my list. She was jealous of Arya from the start. The No Name/No One man really likes Arya and the waif feels the connection. She was a brut to Arya from day one. Hate her. Although I must be honest and say, she is a badass.
Why is Theon still in her hate list?
Please forgive him hogwarts
"That thing had sex with Stannis."
"Thing" ?

Hahahahaha Hogwarts : "It's soooo big! Is he gonna give it to him?" Brian : "That would be cool :)" Classic.

I loved how excited you got for Brienne, that was pretty special lol. There are so many moments I can't wait to see for season 6. I cannot wait!!!!!!
If only HBO would have blurred that as well...

This whole episode has been fun to watch with Hog. Season 6 is one of the best :P
Your reactions to both Cersei's excitement about Myrcella's return and Melisandre's reveal are amazing. I love it!
"Is this episode going to make me like her?"
No, but the next one will...;)
The best use of the blur effect in history!Thank the gods;)
That's what she said
-Michael Scoot
smith tag didn't get it at first
who's michael scoot? the boos from the oofice?
These videos are all so good and thank you for the bonus videos. It is great to have some extra stuff when there is no new episode.
tis the season of giving!
I think she'll really love this season with all the good things that happen for the Starks. I'm really looking forward to seeing her reaction to Jon, i threw my hands straight up in the air and yelled "YEEEEEAAAHHHH!!!"
11:10 "I go to the bathroom" that look from her haha
Lmfao at Hannah’s laugh when Cersei finds out Jaime and their daughter arrive at Kings Landing
Ellaria: "I will avenge House Martell . . . By killing all of its remaining members? Who wrote this?"
"What is her motivation in the show?" TO SAVE LIFE ITSELF. Jeez, man, hardly anybody gets Melissandre.
"Next episode!"
That was HILARIOUS! The jaw drop was momentous!
So my question for the end of season 6 Q&A is for the rest of the gang: How hard was it to not spoil it for Hanna? Like when Ned died to say something like "You think this is bad, just wait" or when Jon died and she was upset to tell her that it would be alright? Or when she make a prediction that was either right or wrong to not say anything?
that isn't difficult at all, because you want that person to experience the show the way it is supposed to be.
we will drop a q&a announcement video this week don't forget to repost this question so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle!
Hogwarts face at Melisandre reveal was priceless.😂
I think Melisandre has a night gig working the bathtub in Room 237 of the Overlook Hotel.
Maybe that's where they got the inspiration. REDRUM
Maybe so! In any event, when I saw this scene here for the first time, that's immediately what I thought of.
Haha that face when you see old mel
That I think was the best reaction I have seen to Mel's true form. Just utter shock! I enjoyed!
Yeah, same face/reaction we all had when we saw true form Melisandre, LOL!
omg I laughed so much when first saw the red woman and all the guys who would previously have "tapped that" reacted...too funny
Brians voice in the end lol then im going to the bathroom. You better hurry :D
6:20 the guy in the back ground look so much like Yoren (Night's watch dude season 1)
The question is why Melisandre is the way she is. She removed the necklace and she became her true self. Then again she was without her necklace in season 2 when she was talking to Selise and she wasnt old. Maybe it has to do with her losing her faith or self doubt?

My *favorite* reactors going rn. Makes me sad there’s only 9 more eps to go!
aw thank you so much! we are starting to get sad too! Will you stay for future shows we react to?
I laugh at those who are so creeped out at Mel's old body, there go we all eventually, trust me. Our youthful bodies don't last forever eventually gravity takes over, male or female, you live long enough.....well. LOVED this reaction and also the gift video, I've been waiting to send a little something something....you have no idea how hard it is to find a postcard here and online is ridiculous. But I am going to try my hand at "hand crafting" one for you. See you on Wednesday.
haha it does seem that postcards are out of fashion these days, ya handcrafted is great! or even just a picture, we're not picky we just love everything we get from you. guys!
Done. Homemade postcard/letter, gifts are going out on Wednesday to you, should be there Friday or Saturday. Enjoy.
That's why (unless physical aging can be prevented) I've decided to call it quits at about 150 years. Seems reasonable. :)
yayayayayaya! Cant wait!
Ookamino...nothing unreasonable there!! I tried, it didn't work. Now in my 60's and shocked to be here quite frankly. But, I do the best with what I have. I reckon you will too.
It's absolutely painful to have to wait for each episode...Hogwarts react is so fucking entertaining, if you were to make it a DVD collection with the extras...I would buy it....it's like watching a comedy, this is so different than anything else on Utube!
haha thank you so much for the kind words!
That scene when Cersei watched the ship approach and realizes it carrying her daughter's body, is just about the only time I felt sorry for her
can't wait for her to see Battle of the Bastards!
I've been trying to figure out why reaction videos are so interesting. The only thing I can think of is that it is a way to recapture some of the feeling of watching the show for the first time again. Or for those who read the books to glimpse how people who did not read the books first react to the show fresh and unencumbered with expectations.

sqrlmonger thank you so much! We are so grateful you see what we see when we watch the reactions ♥️
sqrlmonger wow! Thank you for this comment- it really means a lot :) thanks for watching my favorite show with me!
To be fair, I should have been clear that the whole gang makes the channel what it is. It's just all centered around how expressive Hannah is and how adept the rest of you have become at pressing her buttons in the most hilarious ways =)
The necklace glowed when she drank poison in episode 1 season 2. She went nude I the bath with Stannis ‘ wife, but that can be explained by the oils she used for her bath.
krichardj or that selyse was seeing Melisandre in her true form
I love her expression at 0.53 mark, when she sees Cersei saying 'maybe I'm not a monster', she's clearly feeling that incredible monologue from Lena Heady. I love to see Hannah torned in this Cersei moments, wish you could show more of her reaction in this moments. But you did post that long scene between Sansa and Brienne, so it´s fine.
its such hard balance using only 10 minutes! WE wish we could do it all!
I liked Doran's portrayal in both show and books.
Cant wait for next Mondays episode
I love Cersei. She's my favorite character on the show played by the best actress on the show. Tormund is my second favorite.
1:18 - that line is accurate with the show. Nice foreshadow, D&D.
She should watch conan o brians melisendra skit
Yes! "Conan Goes The Full Melisandre". Watching this video I was thinking, Melisandre climbs into bed, pulls up the blanket, then...KNOCK KNOCK "Room Service!"

Richard Lucas i think the golden company will turn on Doran. Or euron will attack dorne for cersei...
Yes that sucks because in the books they are mighty and much more glorious than this , they made them seem like a bunch of killers and traitors
Dorne went over like a lead balloon in Season 5, and so they likely said "fuck this, no one likes these characters, anyway," and then went about killing all of them off over the next 2 seasons. Her real name was Melony btw, and shes 400+ years old
“Does that mean something to us”? It certainly means something to Gendry, I guess he won’t be boasting to the boys down the tavern about losing his virginity to a 400 year old woman! 😂🤣😂🤣
There isn't enough Dornish wine in all seven kingdoms or Esos to scrub THAT mental image from the mind, may he never know.
AximandTheCursed how do you play that as an actor, god I hope he sees her again without her necklace!
Ahhhhh Dorne, it still hurts how bad it was done.xD Geeez.
its snowing next episode.....................where bad puns goes to die lol
Hogwarts: "Is he gonna give it to him?"
Brian: "That would be cool."
Oh bless you, Brian. That was hilarious and poor Hogwarts didn't catch that at all.
So great to see you have hope and love again for the story! cheers! (or Bless) lol
Going to love the reactions for this entire season. The hate for Cersei is strong and true! LOL
3:41 🤣 Dammit Brian you gotta stop
The Red Woman has always intrigued me from the beginning. Never thought she was evil just always misreading the signs not quite on the same page as her Red God. All The Red Women want to do right just some get it really wrong.
Footnote : Some awsm fortune telling by Hannah in this episode almost Red Witch category. Lol
Yea, fun thing is that everything Mel have seen up to now was going to happen. It's just her interpretation of events which was wrong, but events themselves were going to happen.
I need the next episode !!
Cant wait till wednesday when she finds out she was right about Jesus.
Now you need to watch the Conan O'Brian Red Woman cold open.
Predicting tears on 6x05
I never once have felt bad for Cersei or Jamie people forget that he tossed a kid out a window lol.
Jay J pretty sure no one has forgotten that. people just understand that he'd rather have one random kid he doesn't know die instead of all his own children. it's still a bad thing to do, but it doesn't make him evil. you can never say that someone is wrong for not hating someone else.
i have to watch the next episode.......we also have to watch the next reactions...please hurry:)))))
Season 6! Whoo, going to be some great reactions
I can't wait for S6E9, S6E10 and all of S7!
@3:39 when I show her my list of regrets
9:05 WAAHHHHHHHTTT?!? (If you watched The Drowsy Chaperone you'd understand)
Aaaaaa cant wait 6x02
THEfrugo123 SERIOUSLY!!! can’t wait
So many good episodes this season. Can't wait for 6x02, 6x04, 6x05, 6x06, the cold open for 6x07, 6x09, and all of 6x10. Good heavens, what an amazing season. There are some stinkers in there and mishandled moments, but overall great.
Still think she looks like station from Bill and Ted when she takes off that necklace! STATION! 🎶guitar noise🎶
I hope you edited/will edit 3 parts for the season finale because there's just too much that needs to be filmed!
My only wish from Brian is to keep most of that sweet Sansa-Theon scene in episode 2. In my opinion, it's one of the more touching small moments of the entire series.
I still cant believe she guessed the next two episodes.
we are still in shock as well!
"Is this episode gonna make me like her?"
Well the next episode might.
The Myrcella situation was tragic. That always hits me hard.
So hyped for the last scene on Wednesday! Will Hannah scream? Cry? Cheer? :D
Better hurry. :D That's a real GoT fan!! :D
3:40 Brian you horrible man! A man was about to calm down, find some peace and get rdy for bed-time. Why would you dare to wake the faceless dragon?!
xD do not worry, keep up the good editing!
wait? Was there a moment there where she felt sorry for Cersei? Her face when Cersei talks about the prophecy!
Imagine if Gendry or Stannis saw her true visage during their sex scenes... ... ... aw, God- Gonna vom-
I knew about this already I kinda predicted it great reaction!
I love how Hogwarts hates Cersei :D it brings a smile on my face because I hate Cersei so much. None of my friends watch Game of thrones so they woud not understand the hate I have for Cersei 😂
Nikol Lavender what kind of friends are those? Lmao j/k
Elizabitty213 I am askig myself the same question 😁 once we had an English class and the teacher wrote "You know nothing" on the blackboard and I immediately said "You know nothing, Jon Snow" and nobody knew what I was talking about 😂
Nikol Lavender love it let the no nothings continue their boring and meaningless existences lmao 😂 while we reveal in the seven
"It is known"
Admit it though, like every woman wants one of those ruby necklaces...
I think the general age shaming of Melisandre in social media is a bit too much to be honest.
season 6 is so amazing!
The super Dario Brothers
Reading the list of people she wanted dead... doing pretty good :D
I love your reactions!!
I'm apparently 2 years later finding this, but I love it. I have a question. What priest at about 10:00 was he referring to? I'm confused. Watched all of the show, but I'm confused now...
Actually at 9:30
Quarantine, miright?
So weird how they show us how old melisandre is but just haven't mentioned it at all since this episode...
Santino001 Vileno thank you so much for the words of encouragement! It means the world to us!
Sincerely, my pleasure...TC
Santino001 Vileno o you are so sweet! Thanks for this wonderful comment! We wouldn't be here without my amazing friend working so hard to film and edit! I'm sooo glad you're enjoying it
