    Update: As of May 2018, the Global 7000 has been renamed the Global 7500 to reflect its confirmed range of 7,700 nm.
    Bombardier’s Global 7000 is due to enter service in mid-2018, and will offer exceptional intercontinental range to challenge that of the Gulfstream G650. Director of Completions, Sean Johnson walks us through the design features.

    That's an amazing cabin. Stowing the table without having to open the side panel is very useful. Access to the luggage compartment without limit to flight altitude is also a great feature. I wish he had said a word about the cabin altitude during flight, which has an impact on passenger comfort.

      Marlon Thomas Jr It will be interesting to see if it has, it will certainly have an affect on G650 sales but the G650 is one popular aircraft. What this offers is more creature comforts and if you are spending the money on something like this you should expect them. A proper bed, as opposed to the best option being a couch that folds into a bed, an area with a big screen tv to sit snd watch a movie etc. Having flown on a G650 it is one extremely comfortable aircraft etc. But i think this is a better option again. It will be interesting.

    If you fly less than 800 hrs annually, owning a jet is money ill spent. Try using NetJets or its alike, their services is beyond par. Flex jet is also a good company. One time, out of curiosity, I asked for a Chinese fresh steam fish. I thought they would say no, but low and behold, there it was, to my utter surprise, once we took off, here come one of the best steam fish I had ever experienced in my life. So I retained the jet for the rest of my tour in Europe.

  • @steve9428
    @steve9428 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I wish they would have shown the crew rest area. From what I have been able to see, it looks like the 7500 has a full sleeping area for a third pilot that looks like it would be CFR certified as a "crew sleeping area" - (a third pilot would be required for flights over 8 hours long and a must to use the full range of this aircraft). IF THIS IS THE CASE, it is a big plus over a Gulfstream since the crew area is NOT CFR certified as a crew sleeping area on their aircraft.
    The only two downfalls I can see are the cabin altitude in the Bombardier is almost twice as high as the Gulfstream. It does not appear that Bombardier holds its value nearly as well as a Gulfstream. Two big detractors for this kind purchase.

    • @captainwafflez3630
      @captainwafflez3630 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are two crew rest areas. There is a compartment with a single seat by the galley that can also be converted into a double berth bunk bed for flight attendant(s) and/or pilot(s). There is also a third reserve seat in the cockpit. And I belive that this model will hold its value pretty well since it is better than the Gulfstream G650ER

    The Global Express seems more luxurious with comparable technology. It's similar to the way a Cadillac usually outclasses a Lincoln.
