All the characters' Pingyin names are base on contemporary Chinese pronunciation. The pronunciations between ancient and contemporary Chinese are different.
I'm going to honest until Fire pointed out that the symbols signal Ji's next move I didn't notice, let alone that you get the one you parry. Though he was also one of the easier bosses so I saw less of him than most.

Such a great game. I just wish there were more of it, like perhaps a Hard Mode and Boss Rush.

oh boy the next boss is going to be a doozy. First phase is fine but the second phase is a giant clusterfuck, took me hours to beat.
100%agree,but other boss fight all very interesting
its like sekiro, it all comes down to tempo.
game devs made it so you will always have anwser to the boss attack.
in second phase, even you blocked attack from fuxi, you still get push in to the snake, no tempo at all
