HOLY CRAP I was breath taken from the very beginning! I let out an audible "Oh my god" of excitement when Grian glanced at Martyn and Scar's smile with a mirroring expression appeared. I LOVE IT. Him getting close with the dog warts people and then taking revenge omg!! I didn't expect to grow so attached to Grian and Martyn in this AU, lol. The little moments of Grian's wings, cloak, and Marty's band are awesome, stunning work! I'll be rewatching this one, the art work is inspiring and I adore this AU so much. Desert duo is everything to me

Your painting is wonderful, and the story itself is so good. the colors too???? lovely! but im insane over the end... with the grian and martyn hug with a stab wound in grian's back... then grian walking away and _apparently jumping off of the cliff that he does in 3rd???_ like. oh my god im going insane. he brought pain and sorrow to martyn in revenge for the loss of scar, and as such he gave martyn back the only thing he could... the victory.... they quite literally never left the desert, and martyn could never be rid of the crown...
Oh my goodness! Does that ending mean Grian still ends up jumping from Monopoly Mountain, causing Martyn to win 3rd Life? That's super interesting! Especially when you know Martyn was thinking of betraying Ren himself if it was just the two of them at the end. But having him get revenge for Ren by killing Grian when Martyn originally tried to get revenge by killing Scar for killing Ren in 3rd Life is a really cool parallel! This was wonderfully done! The colors truly stood out in this piece! Great job! :D

Read the au last night. I enjoyed it so much... I don't read a lot of fanfics, but this was AMAZING. I read Ours Poetica and Passerine, but neither had touched me the way Pale White Horse did. I nearly cried once reading it. It was the fact that Martyn's focus, the idea in his head, that Grian would be free after Scar died, completely blinded him from the fact that Grian had been standing by Scar's side since the very beginning. This animation was also wonderful. Well done. I can only imagine how many frames this took you. I love every bit of it.
Do you know how confused I was witnessing this for the first time not noticing AU in the title? Martyn handing the cloak to G, odd, oh the flashback to him and BigB eating cookies, makes sense, former allies and what not. He joined Dogwarts?? It only made sense after I read the description! Okay okay okay OKAY!! Nearly five months late to this but WOW Your animation style is incredible, your expressions and use of color are *chef's kiss* IMMACULATE! The "With a Crooked Smile" scene?? You can so clearly see that Grian is smiling even without seeing his mouth because of how you echoed Scar and WOWWWWWWWW I CAN'TTT!! I need more of this AU. I adore that it seems to be Martyn and Grian centric, I think they have such a unique relationship and it's a shame there isn't more works focused on them. Beautifully done. To you and everyone else who helped write the AU. Consider me hooked. I see there's a fic mentioned in the description, and I'm very tempted to write my own tbh (if that's cool). 10/10, absolutely brilliant, 5 out of 5 stars, like button smashed, subscribed.

I just... oh my god? Are you some kind of wizard? I feel like I just spent the last four minutes in a daze, completely mesmerized. This AU is so fantastic I can't even find the right words. There's so many little things, the hand clenching the sword, tall!zombie cleo, the WING MOTION, and not to mention that most stunning shading and color work that I've ever seen, and in an animation no less. You've baffled me and created something that I hope everyone gets to see and study as an epitome of what love and storytelling can look like as an art form

I need more of this AU. I adore that it seems to be Martyn and Grian centric, I think they have such a unique relationship and it's a shame there isn't more works focused on them.

I just... oh my god? Are you some kind of wizard? I feel like I just spent the last four minutes in a daze, completely mesmerized. This AU is so fantastic I can't even find the right words. There's so many little things, the hand clenching the sword, tall!zombie cleo, the WING MOTION, and not to mention that most stunning shading and color work that I've ever seen, and in an animation no less. You've baffled me and created something that I hope everyone gets to see and study as an epitome of what love and storytelling can look like as an art form

I have watched this multiple times now and I still can't get over how beautiful this is. First of all, the style is gorgeous, but the colours? I just cannot understand how you did this with the colours. The interplay of colouring and lighting is genius and beyond my comprehension. I am in love with those colours.
