Had the same thing happen to me on May 03, 2024. Did a lot of research including the Brass 'T' fitting suggested repair. After watching your very well done video, I ordered the leak line assembly with related gaskets from my local MB dealer. I also ordered the Brass 'T' coupler from supplier when the MB dealer said it would be several days before delivery. The leak line arrived on the same day as the Brass 'T' package but I decided to install the factory leak line after having a conversation with MB mechanic who specifically stated that any alteration on the system would void the remaining extended warranty I have on my 2012 Sprinter 3500 at only 70,000 miles. I completed the job in approximately 2 hr 15 minutes. No leaks, Performance back to normal. Very satisfied with overall job. Easy to do...just take your time. Thanks for posting this very informative video! By the way....did I notice you wearing an AMSOIL jacket in the video? I'm a 30 year Independent AMSOIL dealer and very proud to work with such a great company as AMSOIL. Take Care!
I had the same problem regarding this fuel line. In replacing the fuel pump, I accidentally broke the plastic piece that's attached to the return line that goes to the injectors on the passenger side of the engine. Thank you very much for this video.

Thanks for your comment.
thank you!! great video. time to fix fuel line
When you install all back on place the right side (difficult side) the cover doesn’t rub the return line and can cause a fuel leak and risk of fire???
Correct, I was planning to not put the plastic covers back on. The Mechanics that I talked to leave them off.
Good Video! Is the plug also 3/4"?
It's just a boat plug. I think they are usually 1/2 inch
