Nice little collection pal bow #4 it is perfect for 3D shooting after hunting season to keep your skills sharp and if you go with some pals a bit of competition is always fun
Well done, brother! That's how I got started, many many years ago! Connect with other trad shooters, trad shoots etc. Read about trad archery all you can, take advice. You will go far in the sport!
Great video! My first bow was a Wing 45lb in 1972 I got used. Still have it . Hope your collection grows in the next 50 years too. Makes me happy knowing Trad will continue with people like you. 2 suggestions. Try Flemish twist strings. Try a Strap on Quiver ands weight stability dampens noise. You may like that 56" bow better.
Congratulations young man! I admire the fact that you choose such a beautiful passion (unlike others at your age, who are glued to the screens all day)! Good luck in all your future adventures! Subscribed! Greetings from a fellow archer from Romania!
Well done. Wish I had of got started in Traditional Archery when I was your age. I never started until I was 68 years old. Been shooting guns since I was 12 but there was no Archery Culture in our area. It is a great sport. Hunting or Targets in your backyard. I started during Covid too. Bought a couple books and looked at a 100 TH-cam videos. Keep having Fun.
Sweet I was 31 when I started. Sadly I didn't even realize my uncle was big into trad archery but he passed when I was in my mid 20s I ended up getting couple of his old bows
Nice collection! Cool to share your setups. Hey I think your vid quality is good enough that if you sent your footage to the push they will take a look at it and possibly edit it and put in on there channel. Just heard they do that in a podcast I was listening to the other day. Good luck this season!
Awesome that you are shooting well with the 55 lb Hoyt. Congrats on your deer harvests. You mentioned the Old Mountain recurve was a little light. How many lbs is that drawing?
The trad heritage continues ! Bonjour de Louisiane .Bon chasse mes amis partout !

How old were you in that picture? Looked like you been this hobby for a while.

I mean the overall weight of the bow is light. It pulls around 50 lbs at my draw length.
