Welcome to our sewing room!! There is a sewing guide which can be located in the description section. Please note do not cut any fabric until you watch the videos :) and I sure hope you enjoy this quilt along. I am a new creator so I am learning 😊

I’m so excited I found this. I’ve wanted to quilt for awhile and have some beautiful fabric but I was too intimidated to actually get started! And it will be done for my son who is graduating high school this year.

Love that fabric. So on this we don’t worry on the points? Doesn’t look like there is enough to safe the points.

Nobody worries on the points at all. With this pattern I cannot save the points.

Beautiful blues. And I really like your stars blocks. I have an I Spy quilt in hexagons cut out. Need to do that next but then will come back to you for inspiration because I’d really like to do a king sized for our master bedroom bed. Someday…

I love the fabric in the large Star. Will we lose the star points in this pattern?
Thank you so do I! Yes, you will lose the points in the star. I tried to make this as beginner friendly as possible. So new quilters would not stress about the points.

I'm a new quilter, never made a quilt along. I like the sampler block, I love stars. And your colors of quilt you chose are nice but I think the stars are lost and I had to search to find them. I'd like the stars to stand out more for my quilt. I don't want , white background but....any ideas??
Welcome to my sewing room! You could choose a brighter more bolder colors for your stars to help them stand out more. Look for high contrast in your fabrics.

What is the quilt design app that you use in coming up with your design?
It is quiltography and available for iPad.

It is user friendly but lacks a lot of key features. I am going to do a video on it hopefully tomorrow.

What is the name of the fabrics in your sampler?
Some of the fabrics I have had in my stash for a very long time I have no idea where I got them. I did purchase several of them at my local hobby lobby. Some even came from the thrift store 😊 I am not using a specific line of fabrics.
Is there a fabric requirement for this sew along

Oh no, I was just de-furring my ironing table with black furs when I saw Gracie? Oh my goodness. We have a black cat Lucy and she has a white spot under her neck too. Must be twins but separated at birth. Anyway, I just had to mention that first. Thank you for sharing.
Awww!! My little fur baby is Grayson we call him Gracie a lot lol. He is my first cat! Aren’t they something else?
I have a black cat with a white bow tie. Liam. Looks just like Gracie!
We have twinsies! Actually triplets! We all three have babies that look alike 😊
