Really reminded me of what Robin Williams once said, about how the saddest people try their hardest to make others happy, because they don't want them to suffer like they do. Polka is someone who loves to make others smile and laugh, and she's remarkably great at it. She has that infectious spark of madness that made so many people love her. I hope she never loses that spark, one day.

This feels like Polka is singing her heart out more than usual expressing her less commonly shown emotional side, and I'm definitely surprised Haru Nemuri is involved in this song. Looking forward to more of what Polka will bring!

The way the MV blends the real world with Polka's model is done very nicely! Also, the song itself is very different from Polka's usual upbeat style but manages to still feel like a 'Polka Song'. *Very Amazing!*

I'm surprised that Hololive said OK to this since the song is about serious suicidal and other dark subject.
It's one of the most beautiful and underrated MV of JP Holo imo.

God this song now holds significance to me person, everyone seems to point out how good this song is without pointing out that this song has that connection with dark subject matter.
As I'm going through depression, these thoughts pass me by on a daily basis wether they're passive or intrusive depending on how i feel that day. Polka has guts for such a jarring tone since her last song and i see it as a good thing sometimes.
It's been a year and you might've noticed yourself by now.
Polka actually does a lot of Covers of Songs that topic Mental Health and such, while she mixes in some lighthearted songs inbetween.
And sometimes you have super-cheery ones that have lyrics that aren't all that cheery.
Also with Blue Journey we kinda had COVER officially go there as all those songs are a bit more on the 'darker' side of things.

Those who didn't expect this kind of song from Polka probably didn't know her very well enough. Polka is quite a solemn and contemplative person, and a calm song with heavy lyrics like this one is an inevitavility.

I can't believe it took me so long to hear this and that it only has 200k views so far, this is fucking fire. I never expected a hololive song with themes of depression and suicide but it's amazing and I'm so happy Polka is willing to try new things like this. The MV is great, the lyrics are really real, and the style is totally different from the usual idol j-pop sound. This is probably my favorite of any Hololive track yet, it's one of the few you could actually put on and people who aren't a fan of idol music could still appreciate.
I still find the low view count on this to be crazy.

That part honestly hit me pretty hard. It felt so raw and emotional; I wasn't really prepared for an expression of vulnerability like that.
The fact that more Hololive talents seem to be showing more of their emotional side--no doubt reflecting, at least in part, on their personal experiences--is something that I admire a lot.

After watching a brief video on the story behind this song, it all makes sense now.
This is a story about suicide, depression and isolation from the real world, and it’s being conveyed in a way not done by any V-Tuber ever. Polka outdid herself in this one, and I love it.

This actually rattled me a bit. Amazing song. These Hololive OG songs are really starting to break out of the "Idol" sound which while I love, kinda give me a bit of ear fatigue.

There are already quite a few songs which aren't very idol-y sounding, might like towa's error or palette, or like most of suisei's originals or covers: 少女レイ、 駆けろ、 ghost, cry baby, or valkyrie. In addition to all those mentioned in a previous comment. There are quite a few more but are usually coves instead of originals, and I'm sure you've probably heard most of these anyways but if not, I'd recommend them, they aren't exactly "not idol sounding" however, because suisei is very idol like anyways.

Gosh this is good.
The duality of Polka is represented perfectly in these two songs. PO! is her sanguine and chaotic insanity, while EverBlue is her melancholic introspection. Like yin and yang, the parts balance each other, and the real Omaruza wouldn't have it any other way.
As for the song, I'm speechless.
So let's talk about the video! Compositing a 3D model into camera footage is not even close to easy. The fact that it looks like Polka's actually there and that all of the lighting on her model matches so well with the live footage is just incredible. Breathtaking and beautiful.

Another great song by our zachou. Polka excels at expressing emotion through vocals as seen by her "Proud Idol" and "Loser Girl" covers. I'd put "Everblue" in that same group. Fantastic original song, and I hope to see more like this in the future!

This is a song in which Omaru Polka demonstrated her true power.
I don't know if anyone expected this kind of song from Polka one year ago when she debuted with a box filled with bells and whistles. But, I do know that this song is both scary and beautiful much like the world we live in I admire Polka all the more for sharing it with us.
i love how in the MV, polka's 3D model can be seen as something that is out of place compared to the live-action backgrounds she is placed in. it creates a sense of loneliness and isolation that really fits the mood of the song. The blue fire that is shown on the stove still manages to feel cool and dispassionate, despite the fact that fires normally represent heat and passion. it really feels ghostly, lite its something that can fate away at any moment

Every now and then I come vack to this song, it alwags makes me cry a bit, it's a song that you wish people didn't have to live through but it's also a song that represents the reality of millions of people everyday and that just hurts to know. ❤ Stay strong out there 🫂❤

It just really sells how empty the world has become for the protagonist of the song. She has so completely given up on life that she isn’t even trying to be remotely melodic.
This is still to this day one of my most listened to hololive originals. It's just too good to not appreciate.
10 seconds in and I can already feel the "we live in a society" vibe from this. Such masterpiece. The lyrics and the melody carry so much emotions and the graphics are insanely beautiful. Instant favourite.

I'm still learning Japanese so when I first heard this on spotify I couldn't really understand but you can FEEL the emotion in Polka's voice. This is honestly a beautiful and powerful song and the fact that it's Polka singing it absolutely floors me. She's always felt like the most dynamic member of jp and she's won me over time and again
This was already one of my absolute favorite Holo originals from the moment I first heard it, but for some reason I just hadn't listened to it for a while... that is, until Mococo mentioned that it's one of her favorites! I had to come back and get this absolute gem back into my musical rotation. Thank you Polka, and the puppers too for reminding me!
