Fabulous piece! My interpretation is that in the first half, the dancer wears orange, the color of fire. She finds difficulty in breaking away from Samsara, the cycle if life as she holds in to the fires of her past, as shown in the piece, she unfurls from the firey sash (a metaphor for her actions perhaps) but does not let go, expressing her difficulty in letting of samsara and hence her dress orange, as a symbolism that she hasn't attained nirvana (pure bliss) . Even her makeup is almost like a mask that doesn't allow her to see past herself, and makes her look terrifying, perhaps in order to hide her vulnerability
In the second half, she's shown with a white sash and dress, indicating she has finally let go, the music is more lighter and she wears a glittery makeup that is more sheer than her previous one, as an indicator she is now able to see beyond herself almost. The glitter and confetti is a celebration of her abandoning samsara and attaining liberation (moksha). She doesn't hold on to the fabric as much as in the first part, indicating now she is able to let go of the fabric (an extension of herself and her actions perhaps) and the confetti and glitter cover her, as symbolism that she has attained moksha (freedom)
Both her dresses had a violet hem, probably as a reference to the universe which is blue or purple or violet, indicating her role as a person in the universe. The hem was much thicker in her orange dress, almost as if she was being pulled down by her actions in the universe, whereas the hem is much thinner in her white dress, meaning she has lett go, but hasn't forgotten her role in the universe, she embraces as she twirls in the white dress, but the hem (universe) does not pull her down but twirls around her as she enjoys nirvana (bliss)
Just my interpretation, could be wrong, but love the piece

I also heard Loreena McKennitt's "The Mystic's Dream" in there.
This is stunning. Just stunning. Thank you so much.
