I tried this recipe tonight- it was a success! The skin is very crispy. Next time i will reduce the time - 40 mins at 400 degree is a bit long - the meat side is too dry for my taste. 30 should be good. I love the dehydration trick - it works so well for the skin

1.Season and make shallow cuts on meat side only
    2. Make foil box
    3. Clean and brush skin side only with vinegar
    4. Make foil box
    5. Place in foil box skin side up close edges to encapsulate meat leaving skin visible
    6. Brush skin with white vinegar
    7. Place in air fryer for 30 mins @200 degrees
    8. Remove and brush over skin olive oil and sprinkle of salt
    9. Return to aifryer @ 400 degrees for 40 mins let cool for juices to redistribute... Or slice right away and enjoy😊😉

Everything comes out perfect. So far bagel, fresh toast sticks and fish sticks. The square basket is a game changer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB You get so much more room than the round basket.I’ve had it for about 24 hours.Only drawback I’m having an issue with is the pulling out the basket but I know eventually I will master that as well.

Wow Chef I used to watch dad and my uncles cook this in the oven and sometimes deep frying and I remember telling myself I would never cook it because it was so messy and too much to do too much preparations!! Then I tried your way this evening and I was skeptical first because it's only on Airfryer. Today, I found out Airfryer is for real! Omfg these are delicious! It blows my mind and I didn't even have to wash the airfryer lmao!!!! Best invention after a microwave!!!

I found that it works best in a air fryer as it’s very small in the cooking area ... in normal oven it’s very hard to get the skin to crisp up as the cooking area is very big and the skin is too far from the cooking element ... it works most of the time in a air fryer for me with minimal drying of the skin just like chef cooking method 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Finally - an air fryer recipe for pork belly that actually WORKS. Super crisp crackling, soft, flavourful, juicy meat...! Been looking for 2 yearsI I followed the recipe and process to a T. I checked after 25 mins at 400 degrees and mine was ready to come out. Bizarre - by far the least amount of prep/work (no pricking skin, no scoring the fat, no salting/drying time in the fridge), but by far the best result. This is now my go-to recipe! Thank you, Chef!

I followed the instructions. Wasnt sure how long I should leave it sit after brushing with vinegar and how much vinegar should be on the skin. Only just so much that it glistens? I only waited like 5 minutes and then dried with a paper towel. Result was great for my very first crispy pork attempt. Crispy and delicious. There are small patches which are not as crispy.

I just used this recipe after three very satisfying times. This time I followed the recipe but used white wine vinegar instead of plain. In the drying process, the fat cooked way too fast and was almost burned on the edges. After 30 mins on 400, I had to stop it because the fat top was burning. Was it the vinegar or maybe the pork itself?

Great recipe! Have to guestimate on the spice amounts....but just like the restaurant! Stays crunchy overbite too...not as good as just cooked, but still good!
