I was getting so bored of Heartseeker builds and wanted a bit more involvement and action on the screen. This build is FUN and will be using it as long as I can until I reach 100 or simply need to change things up to push higher. Thanks for this. Nice to see something other than heartseeker for barrage for the Rogue.
Puncture x3, flurry 360, twisting blades orbit, dash shadowstep and shadow imbue with aspects that add ice and poison; then get the perk for elements. Super fun, super simple, works well. Also, use dodge and the heal/fortify aspects to survive and it’ll add overpower to attacks.
Thanks for the great guide. I'm using barrage right now and want to switch to this build. How are you freezing mobs so much? Icy Alchemist only procs with shadow imbue right?
Hey! I have been looking at your build on Mobalytics, where you have the endgame version up. You mention we do boss damage in "other ways" with the endgame build. What ways are those? I am probably gonna end up modifying this a bit to see if I can push it a bit further, but I'm curious as to what your thoughts are. I love the build, very cool idea and exactly what I wanted out of Rogue tbh. Also, can I use Shako and Azurewraith on this build for endgame/pit?
So the other sources are the lucky hit to deal damage, so with that setup the main damage source is coming from blast trappers, the shadow damage hits for a ton. Unfortunately I've been messing around with a bunch of setups with it and got stopped at T70 due to lack of boss damage. It is completely possible to push further as it takes like 1-2min to reach the boss, but all the boss mechs tilt tf outta me sometimes lol
And as for shako, I don't think shako is really the best, because the +4 to all skills doesn't really benefit the build when you're relying on lucky hit damage aspects/uniques/tempers. Azurewrath def can work
I almost have an identical build but I’m a bit new to the game. How do you have unlimited Shadow Imbument? I have one cast with only 2 charges then a 10 second or so cool down.
Is there an alternative option to holding down shift to force attack with Flurry? My character is permanently trying to get into feet-sniffing distance to use the skill, or with packs of enemies runs in circles, because I cant get right inside the highlighted enemy to attack. Holding down shift is uncomfortable and cramps up my hands. Edit: to make it a bit more clear what I mean, press your Flurry button without shift and take your hands off the mouse. The character will walk even though the Flurry button is not set for movement.
If your keyboard software allows it, double bind whatever key your flurry skill is on to shift. I think that might work, I was gonna try doing that but forgot to lol
@@dashanzo My keyboard software only lets me change F1-12, but it lets me put a "macro" on it. Which I basically set to "shift + flurry key", and it works flawlessly.
@@dashanzo tnx for the reply, bcs the site was bugged a bit for gems, now its all okay, i did max my resistances through jewlery and tried something a bit different instead of energizing aspect, bcs i still didnt see lack of resource generation. so far managed to do pit t55
Sorry I’m new to the game. I’m level 40 now but really struggling with energy management. I shoot about 5 core skills (barrage and flurry) and I’m totally out of energy resource. Any advice?
If you are using combo points, you shouldnt be having any resource issues, 3 basic attacks, 1 core, 3 basic, 1 core, rinse repeat. Pretty hard to run out of resources using combo points.
@@unfundeddeej7361 anh I see. Thank you for the advice. I am using a combo of Death Trap so not using combo points. But you found the solution for me. Great channel.
@@dashanzo Got another question for ya. I'm level 75 and I'm really enjoying the build. However I find most of the packs I hit explode due to Shadow Imbuement not because of being frozen. I noticed here in your video that many of packs are frozen. Any ideas why I'm not experiencing the same? I have all the aspects in place as well as the paragon board.
The Flurry build for me is one of the most fun, and has always been the one I liked the most, but it has always had its giant weak point, the single target, unfortunately this build never becomes a good choice for solo play, I don't see a light at the end of it tunnel for her in this regard, unless you find a viable solution without the need to carry different types of equipment and keep switching between them and also switching between skills in the tree to be able to kill the boss, I think it's a very viable build for her always play in a group, because then you have help to kill the boss, but to play solo, the endgame with her is just a headache, unless you achieve the impossible and find a way to make her viable for the endgame.
Yeah I definitely ran into that road block regarding boss dps. Buuuuut after a bunch of testing different things and setups Its starting to look possible ;)
I have quite a bit of things I wanna try with flurry, rn I'm testing stacking different sources of lucky hit to do x damage. And next gonna try using the new unique ring for grenades that also give lucky hit chance to grenades. Whatever ends up working the best for pushing pit you guys will see it!
So this build is not good for bosses? I like to playing for fun not like 70% now running as a necro because minions do the job for you it's not my style, boring as fu.. how to playing the game. I'm looking some rogue build for solo target as well. Thanks
Clearing ccontent is an absolute joy but single target damage is utter trash... The Gauntlet is a pain in the ass, if you want to kill the bosses (which you should).
Yeahhh rogue needs a buff, it's strongest builds are all with victimize and they abuse bugs to deal like 2-3x more damage than they should be and still don't really compete with other builds
@@dashanzo Bosses are an absolute pain. I just cleared a pit at light speed and then got stuck on the boss for _minutes.: before downing it. Very very boring.

Really enjoying the build! Only level 90 so far, but the gameplay is very satisfying.
Thanks for the great guide. I'm using barrage right now and want to switch to this build.

Icy Alchemist only procs with shadow imbue right?
I’ve been trying to theorycraft how to make a melee build as competitive (as possible) for bosses compared to rapid fire. But just a work in progress
Yeahh kinda hard, have to rely on other sources of damage unfortunately

thank u bro for this build. how to boost dmg vs bosses? and what do u think about uniq gloves grasp shadow?
hello following this atm. quick question why not temper with chance to cast heartseeker twice.
Thanks for this :)
Great build! I am curious, can this also work if we just use Barrage and use Blade Shift as basic attack?
I haven't tried it but I'm sure it'd work, just swap out closer glyph for ranger :)
What about the flurry unique ring? Worth running? I mean you are throwing grenades constantly when using it.
I almost have an identical build but I’m a bit new to the game. How do you have unlimited Shadow Imbument? I have one cast with only 2 charges then a 10 second or so cool down.
On your jewelry you can get +casts to shadow imbuement with tempering at the blacksmith, so when I use it I get 8 casts instead of just 2 :)
@@dashanzo thank you very much.
@@dashanzo does the tempering stack? I know there’s a +1 but what if I put it on multiple items?
It stacks dw@@visionofgrey

Possibly, haven't thought too much ab pvp, gonna focus on PIT and Pve stuff for now, but if somethin interesting happens w pvp I will

Armor - rubies, weapons - emeralds, jewelry max your resistances or use skulls

Do you have guide for pit level 100 for this build?
Not yet, struggles too much with boss damage, but still testing things

U think can I switch flurry for twisted blades ?
Yeah I tried it and it works :) but definitely will want to invest into more attack speed
Is the new flurry ring useless then? havent really seen anyone using it
Nah it seems solid. I'm gonna be messing around with it soon
Why do you use Frostbitten? Just for the % damage to frozen?
For leveling yeah, working on the endgame version and a few aspects get changed, gonna try n get the end game version out soon
Thanks for the reply, I’m still working out optimizing the aspects as well. This is turning out to be a good season.
How does he have 8 shadow cast I could only get 5
Doesn't the Frostbitten Aspect only work on grenade abilities?
Nah, it gives you crit damage multi against frozen enemies
