wow thanks i have lossless scaling. i always felt it added latency but it will be great for callisto protocol full ray tracing on my 3080ti 4k 120hz! i struggle to hit constant 60 due to cpu bottleneck.
people need to learn about ''Windows'' itself , it has many hidden features that can be turned on or changed , these can help your performance more then buying new pc components ... like the Ultimate power plan , setting games to Extreme priority , unparking CPU cores , telling Windows to use ALL cores instead of holding 2 of them in a coma ( sleep mode ) ... and loads more things to discover that can give you at least 2 more cores to play with and a hell of a lot of power + performance , for free
I'm not a fan of frame generation but this is amazing for games that are stuck at a 30fps lock or can't be run high because system limits or emulator limits.
Keep in mind that the FPS limit you can achieve depends on your hardware along with your monitor's refresh rate. For example, you can't play at 120FPS on a 60Hz monitor using this application.

I meant that the requirements to run a game at 30FPS and use frame generation for 60FPS are lower than modifying a game to run at native 60FPS. However, when using frame generation, artifacts occur, and using 60FPS mods, this won't happen.
@@retrogamer847 It depends; if there are small drops, Lossless Scaling will likely correct them, but if there are significant drops, you'll feel that the game is slower at that moment.

I try warzone and Fortnite. 30fps native to 60fps. The experience suck. I prefer 35fps without losses scaling. The sensation was very weird. I don't like this.

you're basically paying for an AI now , not for a GPU the GPU is now a prop to put the AI on ... the now 6 YEAR OLD 2080ti runs just as fast as a 4070ti , if you leave off the frame generation and DLSS/NIS gadgets ... there is NO difference , the 2080ti gets more fps in some games ... you're Definitely not paying for a GPU anymore , just the right to buy these unpolished child-stage AI that need new instructions every other month with DLL file but i guess This is what WE wanted ...
On the contrary 60 to 120 isn't noticeable increase in fps but 30 to 60 is. So I'd rather "see and feel" a bump in fps and increase in artifacts than less artifacts but can't "feel" the increase in fps
It would be really cool if the entire video had been generated by AI and I didn't spend an entire day, from early morning until night, just to write the script, translate it into three different languages, create a thumbnail, and edit it. Not to mention, it took another half day to capture and analyze all the data.

I recently tried this on Shenmue with 60hz, and while the frame gen is not perfect, it is a great start :)

i miss when rasterized performance was the main target. now developers heavily lean on dlss and fsr so they dont have to optimize their games as much

It didn't work for me in rd1 ryujinx instead it produced some weird blur when moving camera but the fps didn't change

It say the bare minimum was 30 fps with 60hz like it not good but it work.
The recommended one is 60fps with 120hz.

Depends on your monitor and it does work. Just some games and setting need to be adjusted. I use a 3090 Ti

I thought the same thing, honestly I don't notice it, and that is even with 30fps games running at 60 if anthing it feels much more responsive.

You did it wrong.... Fortnite Gets 120FPs easily on 2k resolution with epic settings.
