    Briar Creek is a fun one for sure! Love the LJ’s longer wheel base w/ long arms.

      The LJ is set up very nice for sure. Briar Creek is now on our list of trails to hit whenever we’re up there!

    Some great off roading out there with some good looking Jeeps. Do they have many parks like this in your area?

      There are 3-4 good places to go within 2 hours or so of where we are in Central AL. In my opinion Stony Lonesome is the best mix of terrain.

    I like your wheels, and i heard you mentioned in one of your vids that they are Method 305 17x9. However, I could only find 17x8.5 with 0 offset. I like the stance on yours and just wanna make sure i get the right one.

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was incorrect about the 17x9. They’re the 17x8.5. 4.75” backspacing.

      @@_everydayoffroad_ Thank you very much for your quick response. Did you install hub rings to fit the wheels?
      I have 98 TJ and the hub rings came up as a recommendation when i tried to place my order online!

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No I do not have the hub rings. Make. Sure you order a set of their lug nuts with the wheels though if they don’t already come with them!

    That TJ walked everything the long arm LJ's did. Not as much flex but definitely as much capability!

    I can't find Briar Creek on the map. Can you tell me what trail number it is?

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s not on the map. It’s the creek bed off of 407H. Just find 407H, turn like you’re going down that trail, and briar creek will be a split off to your right.

  • @JeepTJWheelin

    Cool video. Is this off road park far from your house? Never understood why people can't drive their Jeeps to these places, are your Jeeps not on road worthy? Don't get me wrong, I usually don't take my TJ on far out of state trips anymore, because it's not enjoyable for the wife. However, if it's just my sons and I, then we take the TJ. Because we usually hit a trail and go beach wheelin' when we visit family out of state. Btw, did you air down, those tires look full?

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is about 1.5 hours away from us. We trailer for peace of mind of not having to limp one home and to keep road miles off our rigs. It’s not necessarily a distance thing. And yes I was running 15 psi and the silver TJ was running 12 psi.

    • @JeepTJWheelin
      @JeepTJWheelin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_everydayoffroad_ It just look like all the tires had little to no give at that low psi, never seen tires not form/give to rock at that psi.

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Must have just been the video then because we were running them nice and soft. The LJ wasn’t aired down but Josh and I (the TJ’s) were. I don’t go below 12 psi on non-beadlock wheels.

    • @JeepTJWheelin
      @JeepTJWheelin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_everydayoffroad_ Okay, those are some stout tires not to show any give aired down. I have KO2's and they definitely form to rock aired down. I'm definitely a TJ man, but when an LJ is built right, they are tough to beat, that thing is a hulk!

    so all the rigs in this video are running hp30's ???
    if so im a alot more confident in starting out with a hp30 instead of saving up for a super long time to get a dana 44
    dont think i will snap an axle assembly in half in my lj with this type of wheeling lol

    • @_everydayoffroad_
      @_everydayoffroad_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All of us have strengthened Dana 30 fronts. I have RCV’s and an Eaton locker and the silver TJ has chromolys and is trussed/gusseted. They’re plenty strong to handle 35’s

    • @justintb96
      @justintb96 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go watch videos of what cherokees do on stock axles. I've seen so many rev limiter clutch drops and bouncing cherokees on 37s not break anything. I run a built hp30 on my tj and beat on it pretty hard with 37s.

      @@jeffmurphy9987 our multiple different brand tire gauges say the same thing (12psi in my tan TJ). I have a brand new ARB quick deflator so maybe it's just the video. Definitely the lowest PSI I'm going to run until beadlocks.

    Pressure is way to high for what you are crawling. 8-10 lbs would give you far more capability.

      We since have gotten beadlocks where we feel comfortable running 8-9 psi.
