- We got a call on a Saturday for a disabled SXS up on top of Poison Spider Mesa. So Lilli and I jumped in Trailmater and hooked up to the recovery trailer and went after it. We got up there and loaded it up, had a bunch of clean up from the clutch exploding but that went quick. On our way down we got a call about a flipped jeep in Arches. So when I got down from Poison Spider Chris came and picked Lilli up since it was about to get dark. So I ran in and got the jeep back on its wheels and running. I carried it down to the paved road and Shawn met me with Big D and hauled it back to the shop for storage till the customer could come get it. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Was going to the outdoor gun range this morning. A bit too cold in Michigan. A great time to watch Trail Mater and Lilly instead.

Yea! Finally the star of the show comes out of the shadows.
Rory (trail mater) is the only off-road recovery company who often goes out for a recovery mission without any backup rigs. A tremendous display of courage and dedication to his work. Kudos Rory the Irish. 👍🏻
The difference lies in being in cell reception or not. A lot of the areas where Rory operates (that are marked trails) are in reception, so backup is at hand. Once you go outside range though, he has backup with him.
Rory doesn’t always have backup available on some of these recoveries his confidence in himself and his equipment is what allows him to do these recoveries w/o backup.@@RandomName100
he's on known trails close to home with a proven rig. his back up is a short wait away after a call.

Just LOVE seeing Trailmater back at work in its natural environment! I think that machine belongs to your red rock desert area now, and long after we're all gone and its rusted away, people waiting for a recovery- if they listen out carefully - will still hear the sound of that engine, the clanking of its suspension and the rattle of its chains. You have a legend there Rory.
I am glad to see that Lilly has a great eye on the camera and a good eye to find pieces on the trail. And is doing her part to keep the trail clean.

Hi Lilly, good to see you again. I know you are cold in the truck today but you need to know it is so very nice to see your smiling face and hear your voice. You don't know this but, your dad looks really happy when you are with him. So he has a lot of pride in you.

Ive Been a heavy equipment mechanic for over a decade, ive never seen someone use surface tension down a transmission stick. Maybe thats a well known trick in the automotive world but, color me impressed 😎 keep making gold content brother, thanks for helping keep trails clean and open.

I did a double take on that one
Stuff I usually put transmission fluid in takes a few dozen gallons of 30w from a lube truck. But I've d!cked around with a skinny funnel on personal vehicles for a long time too lol.
15:09 mark...Rory fills the Jeep with transmission fluid WITHOUT any funnel and blows people's minds; then later he reads the comments and thinks to himself, "I guess I was supposed to use a funnel. Huh, whatever." Lol
My Dad showed me that when I was 10 (62 years ago) and I showed my Son too. Comes in handy in a pinch.
When Rory said I know adults that can’t buckle these seats I immediately go yep I’m one of those LOL

Always nice when you bring the big guns out. Trail Mater and Lily. Not to say that other guys don't do a superb job with the camera. Lily is always in the right spot for the best video. Nice job. It shows the bond that the two of you have.

Lilly is a beast. She has so many kool stories to tell her friends at school. When she's older she can also tell of sum of the craziest recoveries she has been on with her humble father. These experiences will definitely make lily a well round young lady👍🏾

All your tow rigs are beasts, but Trail Mater is my Favorite
Back in the 1970's I subscribed to Peterson's 4 Wheel magazine. I remember one article that I was pretty excited about. It was about a modification to the axles and wheel bearings so that you could change the air pressure in the tires from the cab. It was pretty cool, but I never got a chance to give it a go.
The best combination - Lilli, Rory and Trail Mater. Great video as always.

Another great video, the only thing I don't understand is why the people who wreck their vehicles don't bother to clean up as much of the mess they leave behind themselves.I know it's the same everywhere, but it usually didn't make me any happier if I also had to clean up the mess left by these people after the recovery of a vehicle.

Trailmater is one of the most capable rigs I've ever seen, been a motorhead my whole life and love this rig, not fancy, just eell built, well thought out and tough as hell!
