So unfortunately we cannot come due to that arrogant Ukrainian Embassy personal, which is really proving me, that the Ukrainian people are being betrayed by their own Government and by their own authorities just like us here in the West and even just as the Russians get betrayed by their own political leaders. The reloading system of Dana vz.77 is also designed and built in Dubnica,Slovakia .So as its precedessor and new models Zuzana,Eva,Diana. And also Czech stolen copies Dita,Morana from 2023.
Will this artillery system unbalance in weight? because the projectiles are loaded at right side and the charges are loaded at left side. and projectiles are much heavier than charges.
Much heavier=47kg x 20-40 shells = 1-2 tons. And the charges are 17-20kg so imbalance is 500-1000kg,easily redesigned during design,construction phase. Whole vehicle weight is 32-34 tons, so 1 t. =there is no "heavy inbalance", just you have not tried to find specification +mathematics. For example power supply,batteries, mettering,temperature+shell speed radar, comm+sat link +FCS computers and Fire operator= if all on one side, can be easily +2-3 tons. And driver instruments are on the other side,of course
Because you judge book by the cover. No, similar wheels do not mean similar gun. Slovak howitzers are automatically reloaded, targetted,remotely networked, not manually. Even if both (Czech,Slovak) variants use Tatra truck chassis 8x8. Other Caesar howitzers for French army do not look like Tatra chassis.
No, that is not problem as Czech simply stole DITA from Slovak Zuzana. And precedessor Dana is also not problem,built in the same Slovak city. And you forgot Ondava which was the real precedessor: - introducing this auto-reloading system without manned tower + precise shell measurements, speed,temperature,wind + FCS computers = for 10x better accuracy. + whole new materials,gun capable not older 30-39 lenghts, but 45-52 lenghts = 4x more explosives for 2x highers speed = for 2x longer reach. There is no need for "opinion" because DITA is ready+tested (already from 2020) and of course is not even close in accuracy to Zuzana howitzers. Cannot be better,when in fact is stolen and build with complete Slovak Zuzana gun, but without precise 20-years testfiring.

So disadvantage is - such gun cannot shoot (and hit something,because is able to hit the only place,like access bridge). And because enemy quickly can find such fixed spot,will surely react, go elsewhere.Thats why all gus are rotational. Even the towed cannons can rotate +-35-50° horizontaly and -10 to +70-80°vertically. Difference between DITA and EVA is that Eva is more modern, DITA is stolen copy +whole gun of Slovak model Zuzana 2000 (built 1998,older, short reach,not enough precision like 100-250m CEP error). Just Czechs in Dita welded some "superb design" sheet metal covers and redesigned Fire system FCS computer screen.
Very good reloading system, looks like this is suitable for the marines as a flagship HOWITZER.

@@tan0319 Well the fire recoil tend to go down behind the chassis. So the two hydraulic leg act as the absorb.

Problem is that Konštrukta and Excalibur come out from same howitzer DANA vz77. In my opinion the DITA will be better.
