Just saw them in Pittsburgh and OH MY GOSH THE EMOTIONS!!! Scooter is absolutely beautiful inside and out and the whole band tonight were so incredible! Praying for Scooter to beat his battle with addiction 🙏 Lord Jesus please bless this man whose music helps so many broken hearts ❤
I am STILL listening to Year or The Spider STRAIGHT through. One of my all time favorie bands & on of my all time favorite albums. YOTS, i think, is Cold at their absolute best. You can hear their sound transitioning through their first 3 albums & it ALL coming together. I really like A Different Kind of Pain as well & unfortunately have to admit I lost track of them for a while now n need to catch up; still though, this album was/is special.
I Remember by Cold first CD back in 98 and even know I like 13 ways to bleed on stage in a little bit of year of the spider I always go back to that first record it's just to me that's the essential cold record for me..

Scooter is amazing! So incredibly talented and a beautiful soul. Can’t wait to see him next month on tour with Orgy. Incredible meeting Scooter and the band last year on YOTS tour. Dream come true!!! Have loved them from jump but wish Sam was still with them 🖤🖤🖤
Those first three Cold albums are so nostalgic and amazing to me. I like their newer music also, not quite as much, but it's still pretty good. One of the best bands ever for sure. Interesting seeing this behind the scenes stuff about bands making their albums. Cool video.
Saw you live in Minneapolis i had a blast and was truly one of a kind legendary experience. Couldn't ask for a more or better whole some all round show. Year of the spider has always meant a lot to me but when you incorporated the stories and finding out a out the real experiences and how they were incorporated it brings a whole new vibe and experience when listening to it. Thank you for dropping in and putting on one helluva show. Hope to see you again sometime in the future
You definitely went to the nxt level with Year Of The Spider....not saying you weren't already a great band, but i seen people finally get Cold at that time and that album saved my life. It really did🕷🕸🕷🕸
Scooter is such a kind-hearted, wonderful human. It's a shame Sam, Jeremy, and Terry dissolved, but Scooter IS Cold. He doesn't need anyone else. And while YOTS was a great album, 13 Ways (for me) was their absolute best. Their self-titled was also incredible. Even the Grundig stuff - there's just something about it I can't put my finger on. Everything after YOTS was...not my personal favorite, but what I know is - no one sounds like Scooter Ward. I'll listen to everything and anything he wants to sing all day every day.
at around 4:15 theres clearly an amazing sounding track that didnt make the album, some unreleased bside, sounds like "so wrong" or something? Someone find that shit cuz damn! Beautiful 13WTB type sound that was sorely missed on YOTS.

I was going through a divorce when this album came out. I can’t put into words what this record means to me to this day.

I liked this record but it was really a commercial record compared to what came before it. It lacks that dissonance that the debute and 13 ways had.
Yeah one of my favorite records and the guy I got my tatoo from was horrible.
