I'd also like to add that there couldn't be a better time for the song "Better human." I've been doing more thinking on my flaws as a person and things I should work on to be a better person so that song really hit home for me.
One of the most underrated bands for the past 15+ years. They have yet to make an album that I haven’t liked. Fantastic sound, absolutely beautiful lyrics and a lead singer that has one of the most beautiful voices that’s out there today. Keep rocking COLD!!! Still one of the best rock bands out there!!!
#coldarmy going Strong and saving lives for years. Thank you Cold. I cant seriously thank you for being with me and helping me when I wanted to die. Better human is so beautiful and I literally cried when I first heard it. Scooter Ward you are so underrated and I will forever have you in my heart. This album speaks to my soul
Cold is amazing. We need more albums like the self titled though, however. I could definitely understand why we don't have similar songs, but the self titled was probably one of the best, right below The Year of The Spider.
I agree with both of these statements. Zack is one hell of a replacement, and you have to give it up to Scooter for sounding seriously close to what he sounded like on 13 ways again.
Sam’s story is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard in awhile. Lol. I’m sure it wasn’t funny when it happened but seriously that made my day. Another sequel to “Home Alone.” “Sam Alone.” 😂
This band will always be my favorite of all time💗💗💗 so glad they are back. I got to meet them once a million years ago at on the bricks at Stone Mountain park. I got to hug scooter and they autographed my wallet and it was one the greatest moments of my life.
One helluva group, outstanding music. Got all their albums , I’m in agreement with a previous comment the first albums were their best work however a different kind of pain has some good tracks on it. You can’t compete with the original lineup though.
Dude this question bothers me. I've been a Cold fan since I was 9... when 13 Ways dropped. Not hating on you or anything but Scooter is 50+ now. They are not young anymore and I can completely understand why they have mellowed out musically. It seemed like Cold were literally bleeding on stage back then. Lots of pain internally. Scooter especially let that pain out on stage and on record. He's probably at peace with himself now and the music is still darker than bands from that scene. I liked the newest album a lot! Way better than Superfiction!! I will never expect them to sound like they did 20 years ago. That's unreasonable. They play what resonates with them now, like what was stated in the interview.
cold did a lot of things right by being in the studio and waiting for the music to be done rather than just putting it out. I believe they love seconds and multi cords they would like to make into a more winter of fall. intel its more stings and tomb...if its a steps next to gravel and mental continues to heavy metal something that only the band members understand intel they can tell the tone in beat with there own words. I know people are smart...people will understand and if they have questions to know what the meaning mean then I think there be happy to explain. it can go a lot of ways...be creative is the root thats growing.
Just need to get this out Cold is and was up there in the late 90s and early 2000 with on par with bands like Korn deftones, and put other rock bands cough staind seether many more to shame puddle of garbage cough. great music that makes u feel something
Where are the original band members. The only one I recognized is the drummer and the singer I don’t know who the hell are those other guys especially the girl I’ve never seen her before
The original 2 guitar players left after YOTS. Terry went to Evanescence and replaced Ben Moody there. The bass player stayed until a couple albums later. I was actually shocked when I saw them live the other night and the original drummer walked on stage. This line up is solid though, even on the old stuff. Stuff off of YOTS and ADKOP sounded amazing, especially Remedy. Scooter chose insanely well.
Do anybody noticed the guy on the left PAULIE i just thought i like to point this out since nobody else does not even know. HIS fucking last name is👉 WALNUTS👈. 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Picking up Nick Coyle was the worst thing Scooter could have done... Nick Coyle is like King Midas in reverse, everything he touches turns to trash and I hope it doesn't end up like that for COLD.
I feel Nick did well with this album. He is a cool dude. I like heavier stuff. I like playing piano. It hit me with the piano with a couple of the songs. I am always into industrial metal and aggro tech.
Why are you hating on the fucking man of Scooter Ward? He writes all his music. You don't even compare yourself to the lyricist of this GREAT MAN. FUCK YOU.
I'd also like to add that there couldn't be a better time for
the song "Better human." I've been doing more thinking on my flaws as a person and things I should work on to be a better person so that song really hit home for me.
Sam's story was so funny and seemed so true being I drive a truck for a living. Appreciate that one. Ilmao

Best damn band on the planet!
wheres jeremy
i don't knows about that but scooter is very talented for sure
@@dantonsteele8128 not in the band anymore, for a while
Besides my band U2 yeah east 2nd or third with breaking benjamin
Cold does not make any bad songs. I could listen to them all day long. They are an inspiration to me❤
This fucking band. They have helped so many people
Scooters so down to Earth. They all seem very humble and grateful.
My favorite band of ALL time. Seen them 5 times. Met the band and hugged scooter. I love this band
God bless you Scooter and Cold. You made me feel so special. Y'all are wonderful.
The story Sam told is amazing
Damn right it is!
Cold is amazing. We need more albums like the self titled though, however. I could definitely understand why we don't have similar songs, but the self titled was probably one of the best, right below The Year of The Spider.
Yes
Self titled is always my favorite, then 13 ways, Grundig, a different kind of pain, year of the spider and then Superfiction
I agree
13 Ways has to be my favorite. But definitely self titled and Year of the spider are the other two of the top three in my opinion.
Still can’t believe that cold’s guitarist now is the vocalist from lifer
Nick Coyle!!!
Hopefully Sam is there for the next album cycle. I hate what a revolving door this band has become. Been a fan since 2000.
Sam is 100% CoId … in fact I reaIIy miss aII the originaI guys, but Zac did good too
And, i miss him in this new album. You can clearly hear, that theres someone else playing drums
I agree with both of these statements. Zack is one hell of a replacement, and you have to give it up to Scooter for sounding seriously close to what he sounded like on 13 ways again.
What’s the story on him coming back? I’m out the loop. Cold have a subreddit?
'98 or '99 for me. ❤️
Sam’s story is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard in awhile. Lol. I’m sure it wasn’t funny when it happened but seriously that made my day. Another sequel to “Home Alone.” “Sam Alone.” 😂
This was a great interview. Thank you so much!!! I was wondering about "Quiet Now" and now I know.
Their music has been my medication
Cold is the heart of feelings. Thanks for everything you do.
I'd love to hear "we all love" live 😍😍
These guys are so cool. Saw 'em 19 years ago [!].
This band will always be my favorite of all time💗💗💗 so glad they are back.
I got to meet them once a million years ago at on the bricks at Stone Mountain park.
I got to hug scooter and they autographed my wallet and it was one the greatest moments of my life.
I remember when I first listened to Cold in 2000 been listening to them every since
Come here to Brazil, we from Rio are all wating for you
Love their cover of Run!
Cold Is Immortal! :)
Met scooter in Birmingham UK around 98/99. Really nice guy. Great band
Good interview, have liked this band for many, many years, very underrated. Great album, UK tour would be great and long overdue.
For me, Cold will always be Scooter, Jeremy, Sam, Terry, Kelly
Classic Line-Up 😆🤘
Cold is back
Great interview!
Sensacional!
I love cold!
Really enjoyed this interview. Also found some inspiration in one of Scooters stories. Thanks for all you guys do.
Love the new album!
Love this band.
I really enjoyed Without You, The Devil We Know, Snowblind and Better Human but Beautiful Life and We All Love are my favorites
One helluva group, outstanding music. Got all their albums , I’m in agreement with a previous comment the first albums were their best work however a different kind of pain has some good tracks on it. You can’t compete with the original lineup though.
I feel like Sam's story should be a music video...Might need to write a song for it! \m/
Scooter such a cool guy
Damnnn. I wish I could've heard "Better Human" before it was slowed down!
What did Sam's EVP say? It's driving me CRAZY!
It said "so far" ..... super creepy!
Oh scooter don't be depressed I love you and miss it when you don't make music
Welcome to the W.B. ♡
I'd probably drop dead on the spot if the entirety of cold was in front of me.
Ask them why there isnt any heavy songs on the new record. Its all slow songs which is fine but they usually have a few heavier songs on the album's.
lmpbizkit1 maybe because they liked the songs they wrote for this one.
There is 2 heavier songs. Without You. Systems Fail.

Lindsay is soooooo beautiful!!

It's gotta be a certain way for Scooter I could see where it would be hard for him there's so many classics.
Nick Cave's 'Jesus Alone' helped me process my childhood's friend murder, who was murdered well, during our childhood. 👏🏾👊🏾🤘🏾

Oh ok I have only been listening to them about 2 years off and on. But I haven’t heard any of their new stuff
Do anybody noticed the guy on the left PAULIE i just thought i like to point this out since nobody else does not even know. HIS fucking last name is👉 WALNUTS👈. 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I liked Lifer
In Wilkes-Barre? what??? I like like 40 mins from there =(
Hahaha. That's what I said. Im in Stroudsburg lol.
Year of the spider was the best..LIKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER
Sam is fucking funny man! Hahaha
Think i fell asleep on this album.
I don't buy that shit. Scooter writes it all. They have a new line up, yet still sounds like cold.
I am always into industrial metal and aggro tech.
the song with out you I wrote an the lead singer of cold didn't write any of their hits burn liars
Why are you hating on the fucking man of Scooter Ward? He writes all his music. You don't even compare yourself to the lyricist of this GREAT MAN. FUCK YOU.
Really? Is this a hate comments or real shit????!!!
