Everyone should know the fact about what is trading. As you are paying just 100 Rs (0.1%) for every 1 lakh rupees of purchase and the broker charges will be around Rs 20. The market remains bit steady as no one will sell the stock for 20 Paisa (0.2%)profit (both buying and selling). And also one can't invest the whole money in the same day of trade after selling the stocks.
So there is no need of answering for such funny questions. It was a joke everyone should take it in the favour of the government.
As people are treating share market as gambling and not as investment. In my point of view the taxes are still low. The government has to impose (.5 %) for every buy and for every sell so that the market will remain too steady and the money returning to the account should take 1 week and not one day. The average holding interest should be an added revenue to the government.
If this happens the market will be too steady and even a middle man can invest in shares and not in gold.
Hope a long term trader can understand my comment.
Foolish question. If the broker has come down to the level of zero brokerage, how does he make profit? When the broker himself is prepared to sacrifice his profit, then why blame the govt. if an investor had raised the then it would have been meaningful. Because, more than the broker the investor sheds the money towards govt taxes and not the broker. Whoever raised the question should pose the same to GROWW, Anngel 1 Beijing, etc.,
