bugger all yesterday, and it's all going in the wrong direction, so it'll miss us today too. awesome tip on the AM radios - it's what I've been doing for years! although,. there was one night storm many years ago and as the thunder started to roll away in the distance, my radio picked up a phone call between two women talking about the storm - one said it was heading in her companions direction and the other woman confirmed it. and bursts of am crackle as lightning flashed between the two callers - one I suspect was local and the conversation (for however long it was) was about the storm 🤣 not sure which ended first, the storm, the conversation, or my ability to stay awake!!
I would love to come on an adventure with you always been a dream of mine to go storm always wanted to do it but never have ⚡️⚡️ keep up the great work ⚡️⚡️
We finally had a few rumbles around Bridlington today. I often listen on 1260 KHz as that is an old defunct frequency that Radio York used to occupy but now is clear for lightening listening.
We were supposed to get a good 3 hours of thunder storms in Stalybridge but we just got rain and the odd sunny spell and high winds...zero lightning and thunder.
You should have been in Great Yarmouth last Wednesday. A huge shelf cloud rolled in from nearby Caister as I watched from the pier then headed to lower ground. It was epic & a beautiful looking storm.I took several pics & a video,...never seen anything like it here in the UK before. Unfortunately, most of the lightning was hidden behind a dark wall of rain at it's base but it was still exciting to watch.
I love the enthusiasm for what you show in all of your videos and I have watched many. However, I think I’m going to call time on watching anymore. The results are normally disappointing to say the least. However, all the best in your future pursuits 👍

In Birmingham today we had some thunder and lightning but manly windy
