The amount of synergy and difrent ways to play the round is the bigest in gwent in those movment decks. At least in my opinion from playing some movment only decks. Great video!
Been playing new NG hyperthin, tacitcal descion with kolgrim as the closer. It can be disgustingly good, have got up to +11 a turn. With hyperthin the new stuff is more consistent than you'd think

Personally I have been playing around with the whole salamandra syndicate thing and insectoid monsters ,though the latter seems a bit awkaward still ( of course a viy combo dack was the first thing to come out as that card is broken, but I am trying more swarm with idarran)
About Dunca. You can put her in back row. She still works and you can move it whenever you want to the malee :) this deck is my favourite thing since i started Gwent a year ago:)
Jesus christ I love the mayhem on the board when playing this deck at full speed. It's so much fun, although the point output is a bit too much. Interesting to see where it'll settle when the meta sets in.
Been playing a bit of movement. With some success I have put Matta and Stregebor to play late to give more value to Gezras, Catwitcher, and Dol blathanna sentries. Also if you are lucky playing against a monster player the Stregebor could draw their Viy. Also Malena, to unfill rows and make sure Gezras gets the most value, either swiping a row or buffing my ranged row. It is a really tricky deck but really satisfying.
This deck may just be the strongest deck after the expansion. Queued into 3 of them today and lost all 3 games. Maybe it's just new so people haven't found a way to really play against it. But from the look of it, I really can't think of many counters against a movement deck. It has basically everything. Lots of engines and they can be both boost engines and damage engines. Pretty heavy control and pretty good point slams in a long round. Tall removal doesn't work well since the deck doesn't go really tall. Yrden can be good in a long round, but those engines are moving between rows so it can be easy to play around it. There are just too many engines that a controlly deck can't shut them all down. Also it's doubtful assimillate is a counter, since the leader can help counter swarm a full row while you'll have enough control to shut down their assimilate engines. I'll probably wait till other players have come up with some good strategies to tackle it before playing ladder again. In the mean while, I'll go play the new seasonal. Updated: Damn, just found out that movement decks are dominating seasonal as well :(
I’ve changed a few cards for my liking and can say for sure: ridiculously op deck. It’s not even funny. Full combo is sick, but even synergy of 2 cards could break the opponent. I’ve even faced lock Nilfgard and still won! This deck put a smile on my face
This deck is insane, won around 7 games in a row on 3 and 2 rank, although I made some tweaks. Took out the driad's caress and cat witcher adept and added bomb plus that elf that can move enemy or friendly unit on deploy. And as for the tiger... did not make almost any points for me. Bug dissapears once he is not transformed, points go back to normal.
It looks fun to play and watch. It pulls me back to play gwent again. I stopped playing when the poison meta began coz i hate it so much. It looks so refreshing seeing good cards being brought to the game.
I would love to understand why many streamers have such a negative opinion of Nilfgaard. Just because they have some removal and annoying tactics certainly does not make them OP (not for a long while). From my perspective it’s consistently NR and ST dominating the competitive decks and scene, yet everyone is still saying this like “NR got unfairly treated with their location card etc.” like seriously?!
@@cheapthrills6050 You said it yourself, removal and annoying tactics. Specifically NG has so many cards that just don’t allow the opponent to have any fun. NG while not OP just makes the match unenjoyable IMO.
Also, tournament players are 100% focused and take their dear sweet time with every move, whereas I try to entertain and prevent my videos from being an hour and a half long
First archetype I used with the Expansion and I love it so much. All the animations are so visually appealing. I made a Witcher swarm version with Leo!

I think you just got bad RNG. Also there are perks tied in with Prestige that makes it so that you have a higher chance to get golds. That might have something to do with it.

hmmm I just noticed if you play Gaetan you always should put your sentry's on the right side of the stack (assuming you are stacking backrow). Then all the moved cards get boosted I think, or doesnt it work that way?
Yeah, any destruction, bleeding, boosting just can´t keep up. Whether in round 1 or 2. It is usually just a two turn blowout. No fun! Oh, and while you are trying to keep the opponents growth in check, their Witcher overlord just blows up your entire side. Great balancing...

Heatwave is boring, overplayed and much like Oneiromancy I actively try to avoid putting it in my decks. Don't worry, there will be plenty of movement lists with Heatwave in no time 😅😉
WTF? So many humans in a Scoia'tael deck? It is a random Dhoine shreder where virtually any key card is a human. The deck is fun, but theme and flavor are gone - it could be any faction. It also looks like a deck horrible in a short round with no real finisher - the Oak is the only pointslam and it plays for max 9 points if you have 3 cards in hand. Otherwise Figgis or Tiger xD Maybe it can be tuned, let's see...
@@boi4947 Cat Witchers worked with anyone as far as I remember - wasn't it Treyse, the master of the School of the Cat, who helped Radovit in organising the massacre of the Wolves in exchange for special privileges in Kaedwen? But, of course, one can reinvent/extend/bend the universum, I have no problems with that. Imho, this deck is just unlike any other previous Scoia'tael decks, as opposed to much more consistent expansions other factions got. That is, of course, only my impression :)

Treant Boar is difficult to deal with while using my main deck. Scoia'tel decks are usually impressive.
Been playing a bit of movement. With some success I have put Matta and Stregebor to play late to give more value to Gezras, Catwitcher, and Dol blathanna sentries. Opened 75 kegs and got 5 legendaries

Their whole thing is that they prefer working with elves rather than humans, so it fits the theme
