Hello! My name is Alex, but people around here just call me Ace. I make videos for Gwent the Witcher Card game. I want to help make Gwent great, because I think it's a fantastic game that deserves recognition.
Gwent the witcher card game is a ccg based on the universe of the witcher games. Based on the minigame from The witcher 3: the wild hunt, Gwent is a unique card game experience that requires strategy and mind games to win.

Hi Ace, I played this deck today on Pro rank, and man I can tell you it's a lot of fun and besides that absolute viable, thank you for your hard work on this one! ;)
A. I love this deck. B. Thanks to watching this video, a couple hours later I faced someone with this exact deck and stomped them out with an Overwhelming Hunger deck with Dettlaff / Ruehin / Haunt deck. I was stunned when in the last round I had over 100 points and when he played Regis, it took my whole back row out, he knoced me down at least 50 points!! You were right about it, that card is no joke with spies on the row playing with the numbers! It still wasn't enough and I won the match, but if it were anything other than this deck, no doubt they would have won with that amazing combo! (sorry for the humble brag; it was pretty amazing on both of our sides, a truly great game all around!)

I like that you put in Villem. When watching your last spy regis video i actually thought about this, as i often saw your deck having very few golds in round 3
Yeah Villem was a gamechanger for sure. I noticed the same thing about the golds so I put him in, and boom
Might actually play Nilfgaard now this is such a cool deck. The assimilate bluff into spies is inspired.

Nice to see Regis spies again :). I've never considered Prince Villem playable before but I can see some interesting ideas with him now as a R3 tutor.
Villem works really great in this, and I want to try him in Lippy as well

The monster deck was a bit weird. That was a kind of deck that you see on my rank (17) and not at Pro rank. Anyway well played man, you are by far the most entertaining and coolest dude that plays gwent. Keep it up.

Really great content, thank you for all the explanations 👌 I just have a quick question (hoping you'll read it) : wouldn't Rot tosser be better than Diplomacy, since you get to proc assimilate and to play a spy? It would be more flexible, plus it could be 2 assimilates through artorius Vigo and take something with the Cupbearer (even destroying a small unit could win the game right? ) 🤔🤔
It would be superior in all those ways, true, but it would make Vigo less consistent and I can't really see myself ever wanting tosser instead of informant

I've thought about that many times, but that makes Ramon iffy...It could work, I would just have to always save Ramon, but this deck already struggles with having a lot of cards you can't play R1..
I am sorry I played poison NG yesterday and won every game . I did this as iv never played it myself but wanted to try it out and I can the ops for sure didnt have fun as most quit round 2. They need to change poison in some way but I still dont know how. Pls forgive me master ACE

Full assimilate is a decent option, probably better than this tbh 😅
I very like this deck and the videos of you playing it are my favourite on this channel. I wanna play it, but i feel like it's very draw dependent and inconsistent. But you did get pro rank with it, do you think anyone can do it?
Its actually fairly consistent, I rarely have issues 😁 I'm a very casual player, so I'd say anything I can do can be done by most people. Its more of a grind though because you actually have to think

Haha as with every faction challenge I choose one and then don't care :P I picked Scoia'tael though, Mahakam Forge is amazing and if I have to play a new leader I'll go with that one

@@AceOfPlaysGwent Mate, it is an amazing and fun build, congratulations! I used Regis with 3 others still to go as the conditions were perfect and the opponent forfeited :)
I lose so much with this deck....but it's so cool when it works I just keep running it. I feel like the guy who only hits on the hottest chick in the bar; I might go home alone more often than not, but when it all goes just right....man oh man is it worth all those other times!

Because they're long or because everything is slow?🤔 because the length is a byproduct of the slowness, and the slowness is a byproduct of Gwent being Gwent
@@AceOfPlaysGwent Gwent is general, but you talk real slow too so I have to bump it from usual 1.5x (other gwent videos) to 1.75x
