On a really hot day I recommend (keep smiling) door latch extensions help greatly they hold door open like a inch keep the air moving thru the cab!

The polaris factory tool kit has a pair of pliers that are for pulling out the plastic darts. Look at your tool kit and check out the pliers. look at the tips carefully they have little slots in the teeth to pull out the darts l. They work really well!!!

That’s a good idea, if your area is cold like myself in Manitoba Canada,it nice to have heat, there is also Tusk heated seats if you desire, keep up the videos I have the same machine had it three days

That is a very cool idea, I hope it worked out for you. I am in Arizona and was out for a ride a couple of weeks ago and found that my insulated bottle was hot to the touch. I had my bottle under the armrest, so I hope this works for me. Daytime temp was about mid 60's.

I already wrapped the heater lines w pipe Insulation ,didn't make much difference the heat come up through the shifter🔥🔥🔥🔥

Great Idea, hope it worked. I was thinking the radiator hoses could use the sheath around them as well. Be a lot of work though
Thanks! Yes it has been working wonderful it has made a huge difference in the temperature of the consul area. I purchased a roll of "REFLEX " at LOWE'S been waiting to disassemble the brand new 2024🤦Maverick Turbo RR 🤦to heat shield the interior,
It makes a very significant difference
I have the 2023 1000 trail s and it is NOISY. Have you any ideas on noise reduction. Ive stuffed blankets behind the seats but didn't help .We do use ear plugs .Love your channel ✝️
Hello and yes they are a little noisy. Unfortunately that is the nature of the machine. We have actually been thinking about utilizing some Cardo headphones that would work with my motorcycle communication as well as side by side. Stay tuned.

You made a mistake putting the shifter rubber cover back in, one lap gos inside the plastic and the rest are out, so if you ever open that up again put one flap back inside.
Yes, we caught that and change it in the next video. Learning as we go.

Now that you have had the heat shield installed for 9 months. has the adhesive on the roll out heat shield held up and the glue not let go due to the heat. Has the tape adhesive held up? Overall would you use the same products?

I did the exact thing to mine, helped a little still hot. I’m thinking about doing the fire wall behind seats, and trying to find a foam to fill any holes coming thru firewall
I also wonder if we added a few more holes in the skid plate for more air!

Ill say, you do things the right way. Our Xp1000 gets hot there as well but I hope it helps with winter riding haha I see the welding table are you a welder also?

Question on rear camera cord extension, where'd you get it?

@@rzr.focused I thought you had got an extension for that cord because of the spare tire carrier? Maybe I'm confusing you with another TH-camr
Probably a good idea if possible to lower the camera however we just tilted the tire and it seem to work OK
What size heat shield shief tube did you use diameter? And how is the heat shield matting working out?
