Save Cactus From Rot | Rotting Cactus At Bottom of Mammillaria

My first propagation of my mammillaria haageana was unsuccessful. after a month i noticed a yellow color at the bottom so when i look into it, rot started to infect the roots. So i needed to cut my cactus again to save it. Propagation by cutting it.
