Crispy Stuffed Red Peppers Like You've Never Tried!

  • These roasted and peeled red peppers become incredibly crispy and delicious! Milk sauce is the perfect addition to enrich the taste and texture.

    Ingredients:
    5 roasted peeled red peppers
    150 g breadcrumbs/panko
    100 g flour
    4 eggs
    2 garlic cloves
    300 g feta cheese
    250 ml yogurt
    60 ml cream
    3 sprigs of dill
    1/2 bunch parsley
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/4 tsp pepper
    600 ml vegetable oil
    Salt
    Instructions:
    Crumble the feta cheese in a bowl. Add 1 egg, 1/2 bunch finely chopped parsley, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper and 2 cloves of pressed garlic. Mix well. Cut the roasted peeled red peppers on one side and unfold them for the filling. At one end of them, put the feta cheese mixture. Roll the peppers to form a cone. Put the flour, breadcrumbs/panko and 3 eggs in separate bowls. Mix the eggs well with a wire whisk. Roll the stuffed peppers in flour, then in the eggs, then in the breadcrumbs/panko, again in the eggs and again in the breadcrumbs/panko. This is how you make double breading. Heat the oil in a cooking pot to 160C/320F. Fry the breaded peppers for a few minutes until golden, turning them. Leave the peppers in the paper to absorb the oil. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, cooking cream, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp olive oil and finely chopped dill. Mix well the sauce for the peppers.
