  • Glazed Korean chicken with amazing taste in combination with pickled cucumbers and rice. This Korean recipe has become one of my favorites!

    For the chicken:
    650 g chicken breast
    20 g corn flour
    1 tsp pepper
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp salt
    3 tbsp olive oil
    Sesame for the end
    For the sauce:
    50 ml soy sauce
    50 ml water
    25 g honey
    40 g red pepper paste
    1 tbsp grated garlic
    1/2 tbsp grated ginger
    For the cucumbers:
    2 cucumbers
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp sesame
    Instructions:
    Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. In a bowl, mix them with 2 tbsp soy sauce, vinegar, garlic powder and 1 tsp sesame. Mix and leave in the refrigerator. Cut the chicken into pieces. In a bowl, mix it with the corn flour, black pepper, paprika and 1 tsp salt. Stir well. On medium-high temperature, heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a pan. Fry the chicken pieces until golden and remove them from the pan. Put the pressed garlic and ginger in the pan and fry them briefly. Add 50 ml soy sauce, water, honey and red pepper (gochujang) paste. Once the sauce has thickened, return the chicken pieces to the pan. Stir until the sauce sticks to the meat. Serve with boiled rice and pickled cucumbers. Sprinkle the meat with sesame seeds.
