I remember watching these videos when I was pretty young. Had o have been like 10 at least. I decided to go back and watch some stuff because I ended up growing into the aspirations of being a film maker, and I wanted a nostalgia kick. I'm just looking at these videos and how they're produced and the quality and love and effort that went into them and reminiscing on the good ole days of TH-cam. I know that's such a cheesy thing to say but it's the truth. I don't have any issue with Fortnite or CoD vids or anything it's just so saturated with them that unique stuff like Indy Mogul type channels are hard to come by now. I miss these guys. I remember the first host is who was on when I started watching, cant remember his name though. I think it was Jeff or something? Idk I'll find it here in a bit with some more searching Lol.
Same here man, I actually discovered these guys on itunes videos when I was around 10ish as well, and that led me into their youtube scene. Incredible to see them grown so much now
by the way, 2 years later, have an answer for the name question
*Zack*
I didn't even notice that this video is 10 years old lol
Hell yeah man
I'm in the same boat. Just trying to find my groove in the industry. More than once I go back to this and Nuka Break to remind me of where I got the inspiration to pursue film in the first place.
I remember watching these videos as a young kid, as soon as they came out from very early on. Super nostalgic watching now, being a kid was so much fun.
"Be as safe as you are creative"
So you're telling me not to be safe?
Are you telling me to be dangerous?
***** So that would mean I have no safety? Cool!
fuck yeah!!!, human torch cosplay, here i go!
Edwardo Franco lol
Be dangerously safe.
same lol
*cries in corner*
I am impressed. Looks totally awesome. You're instructions are detailed enough. And it looks like something I could do at home. Perfect.
Damn. Its really been 7 years😭
10 now
This video just entered my mind out of nowhere. Just as i remember wanting to make this as a kid it pops up in my recommendations. Im being watched and its not that bad tbh.
Dude same, idk if it's cuz I just fired up the PS3 and put in Metal gear solid 4 or what but this video popped in my head, been a long time, I remember watching it like 10 years ago
Same for me except I hope to finally utilize this for a costume I’m making
You're that guy from the Fallout film Nuka Break.
+Sephiroth Light No fucking really?
i just realised it was twig too!!
dude, 2021 and this is still awesome. gonna give it a shot this week! Thanks!
BRUHHH this was a really simplified way of the steps! i loved it! thank you soooo much!
You need to make some Imperial Guard armor. It looks almost as good as the Space Marine armor...
Dude, your video helped me a lot! I was looking for inspirations and tutorials to create my sci-fi armor and you answered all my questions in just 6 minutes. You are amazing, brother!
Amazing! Loved it! Can't wait to start!
0:19 legend intro😃
thnx so much guys I've been wanting a way to create the veteran ranger armor from fallout and this is the most cheap way to make it.
Did you ever make your armor ?
Used these techniques for most of the costumes on my film project. I really can't thank you guys enough for making this tutorial!
Great vid! Love the fact the that this is completely unbiased to a single game and can be used on almost all cosplay occasions!
helpful tip : when hot glueing on the rough side. always sand it smooth. that way the glue will hold better. contact cement also works great. plasty dip is great to coat it before painting.
it annoys me they all say it's cheap but never add in that some people don't own heat guns or Drexel tools
they actually factored in the price of the heat gun this time around, and when it comes to the rotary tool and soldering iron you could ask your friends and family or buy them once and have them for any project.
They're not that expensive. I buy tools used all the time for less that $10 apiece.
Thanks for making this. Great effort!
My kid loves this idea, and I have almost all the materials and tools already at hand. I love this tutorial, thank you for sharing and doing such a good job putting the video together.
How do you do the templates. All I need is the back template, and I'm good to go
Hey you're the guy from Nuka Break!
NowThat'sPeng Thanks, it was driving me nuts trying to figure out who he was.
NowThat'sPeng I knew it!!
Lol, he was hosting this show before nuka break I think.
Nuka break was fucking awesome.
great work, nicely done!
Dude I so stumbled across your video and let me tell you I'm hooked great tutorial and explanation on how to DIY. Keep up the awesome work!
Im begging you please show a second vid on how to make the shoulder pads and maybe even a helmet...mostly because I suck at making my own things without tutorials.
***** it did! well that sucks! D:
*****
Months, more like years!!
The helmet is fairly simple. Heat the foam up and shape it to your face... That's about it
Ya I agree! Post also a video on the arm guards
JerbearTheCarebear I know this is extremely late, but if you search up Evil Ted, his foamworking tutorials are FANTASTIC
“As safe as I’m creative.”...I will not survive this build
Good tutorial! Very easy and helpful. Thanks
very cool thx guys totally going to do this method very easy looking KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!
I guess you could apply this technique to samurai armor? Darth Vader suit? Batman suit?
Yes with some skill and time, you could
Hi your videos are fantastic.. My grandson who's 5 loves watching how you make stuff...he is really into the robot "Atom' from the movie Reel Steel
Please could you give us some tips on how we could do His Head And body
Please.
Sadly they don't make videos anymore
Love this!! Thank you!!
this really helped with my vayne cosplay! I also like how you made a difficulty level and specific price range, so i went in prepared when making my stuff. Even though the armor pieces i made were small, this still helped alot via detailing.
They should do a diy fallout new vegas ncr ranger armor
That would make great airsoft armor
It's just made out of foam, the pellets would probably indent or got pretty deep into the foam
Yeah but all the battle damage may look badass :P
yih
Sage I'm gonna do a punisher body armor then I'm gonna fiberglass coat it then spray it again also if you seal the foam first with plastidip and that can take some damage
Four inch PVC pipe cut on one side and heated to 375° so it becomes pliable makes a 14 inch wide plate that can be molded in to any shape you want. Be careful of the fumes it puts off. I use a heat gun outside to avoid that then a lil sand paper and some krylon paint. That's how I made mine
reaally nice you gave me some good ideas :) thx keep it up
this is awesome! im going to try this asap!
Dose anybody think the spine pice looks like the dead space spine pice
No not really, but dead space made me consider making a suit of some sort as did metalgearsolid4
did yal know Zack works at loot crate now?
I've been wanting to create armor and this was a fantastic post. I will do this myself but more importantly I will be going through all your videos becuase you did a great job showing how to do something reasonably price so thanks again.
Great job looks so cool
I want to make a armor that is cool looking but can stand against bbs I know it's not needed but armor is expensive
Yep
i ordered some eva foam from amazon and i don't see the problem,
i made some armor and it takes the bbs no problem .
if you get some holes to it , it just makes it look damaged
what i did is , after the match was over and i got home i just used some spray paint and gloves to make the bb holes look like bullet holes
but its easy to repair
just use some silicone to fill up the holes
.. but all and all my build cost about 20 euros
dunno how much its in dollars but shouldn't be much
Omg skull hunter u were on that halo vs cod video comments
yep eva foam is expensive for me just 4 x 4 and 4 matts are like 49 to 50 $
i know this is long ago but i know a few places,
try looking through lowes, home depo, that sales eva rolls pretty cheap probably less than 20 so my friends say
or do what i do and go to Harbor Freight and get about 4 mats for 5$ and thats more than enough to make a chest armor 2 rounds of em and you can make a full top armor and maybe your legs depending on details and decord
if your in the US i dont know else were if not sorry :(
Does this work with airsoft. I mean does it protect
It's mostly for filmmaking. But it could work.
that was my first idea too :)
Mine too! :D
Mine too! :D
You'd look badass while you play air soft!
So so cool! Thsnx!!
Radical man... Subscribed!
Why did this Chanel die
