I love the idea of using the metallic glaze on a white wall and giving it an ombre look. Starting from the bottom with dark grey, then medium grey, light grey and finally a white glaze at the top on the white wall. I wish I had this video as an inspiration before I did the stripes on my wall! I'm for sure doing this next time around. Great DIY as always!
My parents did this in our old kitchen and it was really cool. I loved the dimension and extra detail that the technique added.
I convinced my mom to do this to the half-wall dividing our kitchen and dining room. I'm so excited!! :D

we used to have a bathroom with all the walls like this. it was a dark green with gold paint sponged on. its a very pretty technique !

You can use a rag too to apply the paint, but you must remember to turn them so you don't wind up with a repeating pattern.

LOVE this!! I've seen similar how-to's (my parents' bedroom has a similar wall) but not with metallic paint. And that's what really makes it. I think I'd love it on grey, so it's almost silver-leaf.

I love the Mint colour and it looks nice with the glaze but for me I personally would've stopped with the mint colour because it's so pretty, but I could see myself painting with the glaze over the top of another colour. Thanks Evelina :-)

I have that design with light and dark rusty reds at my house, my aunt who's really artsy did it for me! I like the idea of doing it with metallic though :)
Actually it's really good that it dries slow because then you have control and can move it around any way you like it. Just let it dry overnight after you're done applying it and you'll be fine:)
My dad did something like this in the bathroom way back in the 90's. Except it wasn't metallic paint. I think this would look cool in either pink and gold or white and gold.
