I had a rhomboid at the left side of my body and the pain was so horrible. I tried to make a massage many times but I couldn't reach to the area of the pain and that made me crying sometimes. I asked to help from my family absolutely but they get tired at the end and the pain wasn't go. Like this I was suffering for years 💔 maybe 4 or 5 years, the pain goes and return. Also I tried the iron to make a heat on the area, you could think guys what a crazy is that😂 but the pain was unbearable 💔. Tonight I tried 2 of the exercise in the video and (buff!) like a magic I heard a voice of bone crackling (Oh my god!) I couldn't belive that, it worked! 😭 I really can't describe how I'm thankful to you Dr. Rowe 😢

@antoniop5889 I would just recommend eating more protein which would help with soreness of muscles. I Know it's hard when we drive, but I always prep before I go on the road to have good meals for at least a week. Try also walking at least a mile a day to get your muscles moving.

I know that this video is a year old and that you've already gotten a lot of positive feedback but I still wanted to let you know how much this video helped me. I've been working out most of my life and recently started having intermittent unilateral rhomboid spasms that are enormously painful. Over the last few months they would come and go. Trigger point pressure, stretching, and therapeutic massage only temporarily relieved the pain. I found your video and started doing the exercises. My pain subsided the first day. Initially the pain would recur, but to a lesser degree. After a couple of weeks of doing your exercises I am pain free. Thank you!

@@azharmarti If you mean duration of a single exercise, I do it as described in the video. If you mean how long doing it on a regular basis until seeing improvement it was instant. Because it helped me realise my habits how I'm using my body wrong, like forcefully upholding good posture with the wrong muscles, protruding my head to the front, resting my head on my neck muscles instead of my spine, not having my shoulders in their correct position, etc.
Even if it's a tension you're still "doing it" - there's still a thought in your mind saying "move this there", and it's tough to get these thoughts out of your mind when it's a habit but this was my slow way upwards.

Another exercise that works is as follows:
Laying flat on the floor, hold a 5 lb to 15 lb weight straight up and while keeping your arms straight, move your arms up, down, left right and in a circle left to right, right to left. You will feel so much relief as things start to pop. The focus is T3 through T7.

Your sessions are usually explained way more complex than needed but I will congratulate you on this one. Well done. Simple explanation with specific mitigation. I have been suffering scapula and shoulder pain on my right side for 3 months. The pain has peaked over the last couple of weeks. I thought that there might have been a rotator micro-tear. However, after performing some research I found that my shoulder pain was do to my incorrect scapula position. This is all tied to the tight muscle and stiff tendons in the scapular plane. I lacked flexibility and rotation of the upper back. Your exercises are very helpful for my recovery over the next few weeks
    Thank You.

When I roll my shoulder, that area under my shoulderblade always makes multiple popping sounds. It has been like that for at least 10 years, although it doesn't really hurt normally. Periodically the whole shoulder, neck and upper arm on that side is too painful to move for a few days or weeks. No doctor or fysio can explain my noisy shoulderblade. Watching this video, I feel hopeful for the first time that maybe I can finally solve issue. Thank you so much!!

About twenty years ago I was doing some boring, static factory work and after the shift ended my shoulder felt funny. Over time, it has become worse and progressed to this deep ache which I have ignored and learned to live with. It ached when I breathed and the little finger on my right hand was constantly either tingling and or numbish. I play darts and every throw was annoyingly painful. Using a mouse on the computer was also a painful affair, so much so I used to use my weaker left-hand. Sleeping also became troublesome and I used to keep turning to alleviate the deep ache in my shoulder.
About two weeks ago whilst gardening I put my back out and having done this twice before was familiar with the hobbling around bit for several weeks til it usually sorted itself out. The pain in my lower right back accentuated the pain deep in my shoulder so this time I decided rather than to suffer the slings and arrows etc to google the shit out of it. This video was the second one I found (If the first one had worked I wouldn't be here) and oh boy did it change my world. I know this sounds like an advert but I assure you as someone who lived with an effed up back most of my adult life, the gratitude I have for Dr. Rowe is immeasurable and the reason I write at length.
I tried the first exercise (doorway stretch) and that helped a bit. When I did the second exercise (dynamic upper back opener), as soon as I raised my elbow outwards, I felt a huge CLICK in my back. I stood up and rotated my neck and it crunched a bit. The pain was...gone. My shoulder felt like it had been oiled by some mythical Himalayan oil virgins. I could move my whole shoulder effortlessly with absolutely no twinge of pain. I was quite frankly, fucking amazed. Also the pain in my lower back had gone and instead I had muscular pain on the left side which I imagine is the result of me favouring one side for nearly two weeks.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I mowed and strimmed my lawn today and it is all thanks to you Dr. Rowe. Thank you so much. I never thought that clicking on your video would solve my problem but it did and for that I am really and truly grateful.
P.S. Also, I played darts last night with my new pain-free shoulder and as it turns out I am just shit at the game.

I am absolutely grateful for these secrets of rhomboid pain management. They, do, indeed, work instantly - only need repetitions through the day, perhaps because I still am not done the strengthening. I wish to know what causes these deep, small, hard-to-reach muscles to be so tense and rock-hard when I try with massage? I have an active lifestyle and yet the shoulder belt muscles are stiff and sore - the romboid and trapezoid (and the erectus capitis muscles) are terrible. I would like to know what causes stiffness and sore in the back and back-neck muscles generally speaking. What I'd like to see: an exercise that would bring back the lumbar curvature of the spine - it seems that it's getting flattened out with age, yet I don't admit that we cannot do a thing about it.
