- Palestinian resistance group Hamas ambushed Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza City. Al Qassam fighters trapped Israeli soldiers in the Shejaiya neighbourhood. Qassam fighters located and surrounded the Israeli troops inside a building. The video shows IDF soldiers entering a residential building in the Shejaiya neighbourhood. After which, Hamas fighters begin their 'encircle idf' mission as fighting gets intense. Hamas fighters then fired rocket-propelled grenades, triggering fire at the building.

Wow! such a great comment. It seems to me that the reputation of the IDF has been resting on the mythology of the 6 day war since '67. An army that has been 'Defending" itself against the threat of children throwing rocks for 50 years is probably not as battle ready as you think.

6 days of war was initiated by Israel. It was an unprovoked sudden attack. Egypt wasn't prepared for that nor did they have any intention of fighting. Israel was acting upon US will to take control of Suez from Egypt.

Let's put it this way: in 6 days, untrained soldiers, with almost no equipment, managed to destroy the armies of several countries, but they can't fight in 2024, with all the advanced technology they have, and the support, a group of teenagers, despite they are literally obliterating everything?
