AleXa is a singer, dancer, actor, born in the US, now based in South Korea a K-pop artist ( her mother is from SK). She approached VoicePlay to do this with them and was recorded and filmed there against a green screen. In fact all the guys were also filmed individually on green screen. The magic is in the editing. You wouldn't know they weren't all there.

AleXa is a K-pop artist and winner of America Song Contest 2022 (raised in Oklahoma and a US citizen). AleXa's part was filmed in South Korea where she was when the video was being created.
Almost anything in Voiceplay you will probably like to be honest it is hard to pick one you like more than others.

Alexa does a perfect Jinx here, you identified Ceasar as Echo. Geoff is Silco, I think Ellie is Jase, and I can't tell who Lane is playing. Alexa is a top kpop soloist. One of the very best dancers and here she demonstates that she's a great vocalist. My favorite MV by her is Revolution. I hope you check her stuff out.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?1 I can’t believe you guys haven’t reacted to AleXa before knowing how much you enjoy K-Pop. You’re missing out! She’s a whole boy/girl group in one. You NEED to watch AleXa’s video for “Revolution” or “A.I. Trooper” where she has really fast killer choreography. She won the “American Song Contest” show a couple of weeks ago against 56 US singers. She’s gonna be worldwide soon.

Layne brought a new sound in this one too, inward bass.
That’s not new, though. Geoff has mentioned in several interviews how jealous he is that Layne can do that because he can’t. But I think it’s the first time it’s showcased like this.
I am sure you are correct.
All I can say is that it was totally new to me.
I am still just learning about Layne, a cappella, such wonderful singing and performing, and great beatboxing.
I guess I am like a kid with a new toy.

It was really great to see the reaction for from two people who obviously know the game and the series. I had never heard of any of it because I don’t do video games, don’t watch a lot of TV and don’t listen to a lot of modern music because I’m really really old.
But whenever VoicePlay does something I haven’t heard of I do go back and check it out. I was happy to find that somebody merged the Imagine Dragons version with clips from the video game and so the video made more sense. It’s not something I would normally listen to but I find myself humming it all the time so apparently I like Imagine Dragons. I love Warriors by them, including the version the VoicePlay did!
It seems like the two of you are into gaming so you should check out their covers of HALO, My Mother Told Me (used in Assassin‘s Creed), their Minecraft mini, and just for fun their ACA top 10 video game themes. It is snippets of themes from a lot of older games all merged into a little medley type thing. I think you already did their Dragonborn Comes/Skyrim version but if not definitely check it out. It is phenomenal.

Please please please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version of Dream On by Aerosmith. Voice Plays version is better. Also Voice Plays version of Carry On My Wayward Son. Those are epic.
I’m not sure I would say their version of Dream On is better than the original but it’s definitely the best cover I’ve ever heard.
@@justann1358 In the original all you hear is loud music & screaming voices & it drowns out the clarity of their voices. Voice Plays version puts the song in proper perspective in their theatrical performance. You can get the feel & the clarity of the words with Voice Plays version.
True! I just happen to love the raw energy of the rock music and the feeling of Steven Tyler’s almost desperate cry. The two versions are almost incomparable to me because the premise of the song is so different in this compared to the original
