- We take an interesting ride out to Huntington, passing numerous trains, and this being one of Conductor Joe’s last runs before his retirement. You will hear him announcing stops on the public address system. All stations, interlockings, signals and most passing trains identified. The window pane was a little loose in case you hear a little crackling sound.

Interesting video. I've ridden this line from Port Jefferson NYP. All stops Port Jeff to Huntington;, then nonstop to Jamaica. 80MPH all the way! Changed to EMU to NYP.
Thanks Tim💚😀
This is Awesome 😎💯
Ham and eggs loves this video
Wow!! The area near Cold Spring Harbor is beautiful!!!!
Hello My Name Is Richard I Am Your Motor Man Engineer
That seemed like the slowest LIRR train for whatever reason.
I have to zoom out to shoot those and he gives the impression of slow running, but he was doing track speed in many places
'Back in the day' in Port Jeff when an _engineer_ did his last run they'd put torpedoes on the track, and I'd hear them going off as he approached the station.
Good send off !!
A Topical Train Draws 750 Ampers Witch Can Cause electrocution
Did u tell the flying Yankee engineer to say hi to the camera
In The Event Of Emergency We Will Turn Off The Power To The Third Rail
Are you coming back to Philly soon? We miss your septa videos down here.
Next month
I’d love to see video of PATCO trains going over the Ben Franklin Bridge.
How is conductor Paul doing?

Are they actually this slow or is it the dreaded "tele photo Lense curse?
I have to zoom it or you see too much of the inside. I don’t care for that kind of view!!!
@@3985uprr I know, it was a great video, as always. It brought back great memories. I miss the place, NY City in general, but it is far too expensive to move back and try and live. So, I vicariously live through you! Thank you again for all your fine work and your encyclopedic knowledge of the NE rail system!!
Hey Tim it's Robert when are you gonna do another video on the hornshows like the one you did last time at Princeton Junction last time and the remark about Don Knotts that made me laugh i hope that you do another video because I was very impressed.
Robert.
Thanks much.
@@3985uprr Please do another horn show video with amtrak and N.J. transit trains combined this time maybe even do a special survey on your page to see what horns were the best actually a good idea in my mind.
You plan on doing a rfw into or out of Penn station anytime soon?
I’ll try when I get a chance with M3’s
Why was conductor joe retiring
He’s been around a while and it’s trying to call it quits
Why was the train going so slow?
Zoom makes it look slower than it is
@@3985uprr oh gotcha. didnt think of that.
Does the Flying Yankee ever operate M3s? Seems like he is always on M7s/9s.
It’s mostly m7s/m9s
@@michaellittlejohns7968 Thanks.
He dislikes the M3’s. He tries to get Grand Central jobs where he knows he won’t get M3’s
@@3985uprr Wow. Did he state why he dislikes them?
@@ariesarethebest271Breakdown prone. Once in awhile he gets a good set
Come on, RRFG. You must have shot this in full telephoto. Makes the trip boring. Don’t do that! For a minute I thought we were on a SEPTA train.
Lots of other people like it. I can’t please everybody
What a horrible tunnel and ride ! Too slow and too many sharp turns !
