The wind blows about 200 MPH to the north, and that's so overwhelming for the drivers to get around. But a remix like this blows the competition away outright.
@@GodOfThings I see very few Golden Foxs in Silence. This track isn't as favoring to Golden Fox as it would appear thanks to its short healing zone. And in a GP, you're likely dealing with players who have a few KOs. Golden Fox can win, but most seem to fail here.
F-Zero made an oval track the most intimidating of the bunch. And then Death Wind II comes along. Needless to say that I will never forget that track. Great cover

I've always thought it was kinda a waste how nobody seems to remix or cover this song unkess they're aiming for the full OG F-ZERO OST, 'cause it's such a unique song that I feel encapsulates F-ZERO's more "violent" and aggressive side, especially with how the song goes up and up in intensity and speed... This cover crystalizes the rising intensity perfectly, and the sensation of having to perform tight turns under pressure and against the wind. Major kudos! Also not as related to the remix, if it were up to me I'd pick Pico for a new F-ZERO fighter in Smash, to represent said aggressiveness.

That's 2 in a row. This has never happened before! But it is probably due to straight up us playing a few gigs at the Black Hand (Italian Mafia)'s bar. Which very much put us on their good side. The module didn't even prepare for this and automatically thinks the Black Hand will be hostile to the party XD. It was glorious~

So side tangent today, just got done with my Sunday SW Rifts game and legit like every time we leave a location the DM's like 'do you all want to get anything, might be the last chance to get anything for a while' in which our party makeup is all kind of like 'no'. Cause there's only 3 of us, and one of us is a Cyber Knight who in essence never needs new gear, I'm a MARS soldier who rolled so well during creation I got virtually everything a merc could ever want (sides like power armor but she doesn't have piloting or power armor jock), and our third member is mother flippin dragon!!! Why the cluck would a dragon EVER need gear? Sure if he can't fit in somewhere and has to go in human form, sure... but otherwise he don't need no gear!

Which was relatively short since we were mainly roleplaying and then of all people the DM made a VERY lewd joke towards my character. My main PC in this is male btw, and is basically a sapient cuttlefish person. I took the joke much harsher than I probably should have, and my sidekick this immense four armed titan of a woman was trying to immediately end the situation and put the DMPC in her place. DM suffered a bit of shock from that one honestly.

I volunteered to take over the Deadlands Noir game that Zeth was running on Thursdays, which is my first time dming in a whiles. Hope I don't screw it up too much. Other than that if anyone (which is unlikely) went and checked my channel last time, you'd notice I didn't livestream! What gives? Well after setting up for an hour I tested out the dance mat which has a GC, PS2, and Xbox port on it, and it registered fine on all my GC games, but didn't work a lick on my PS2. So I now went and ordered a PS2 dance mat off of ebay and hope it works.
I unironically love racing on Death Wind II in F-Zero 99, won like 3 times on that track through pure skill, I also love it because it doesn’t always win the votes in Pro Tracks, it’s easy to tell not many people like it because they probably find it hard to maneuver the turns and hit the boost pads, Death Wind I is literally Mario Kart Baby Park before Baby Park existed, except I forgot to mention the Wind Mechanic for both tracks which forces you to drive a certain way so you’re not blown into the guard rails.

I only hate the 90 degree turns in death wind II because I only play golden fox and im a slippery guy. Otherwise the track is really good.
