I’ve been recommending the game to GaMetal for YEARS and its finally in. Though I wanted One Last Trial, I’m just glad the game got in itself, deserves a spotlight.

But damn, Denis Akbulut (the original composer) and HAGANE / Keisuke Hayase (who composed the music for "One Step From Eden" and was also a guest composer for CrossCode) really set the bars high when it came to their music. The latter gets special mention for composing "One Last Trial" in such a way that it leads off from "Mysterious Place" before saying, "You have braved many challenges, but can you face the gods?" That's how it feels.
To quote someone else (i've forgotten who) who has probably already commented this to some degree: A CrossCode metal remix could only be possible with Jonny. And well, that person couldn't be more right, keep rocking on Jonny!
I'm just here to say that CrossCode is one of the best games I have EVER PLAYED in my LONG history as a gamer. I've played literally thousands and thousands of games, and CrossCode is one of the VERY FEW (like, single digit numbers) that I would give a perfect score of 10/10 to. Also, this remix is awesome and I would love to hear more coverage!

This is really nice; in the actual game, once you start getting stronger & stuff dies fast, it can sometimes be hard to stay in battle long enough to hear the battle themes in full.😂❤

I’ve been replaying CrossCode right now and I went “hmmm I feel like seeing what Gametal has been up to” and boom, it’s the battle theme that refuses to leave my brain after how long I’ve spent listening to it (especially after I went on an hour-long combat streak on Bergen Trail). This is a fantastic spin on it, and I love that this is how I find out this game might be slightly more well known than I thought it was. Anyways, thank you for doing a song from one of my favorite games of all time! I’d love to see one or more of the boss themes from this game if possible, because they’re all bangers

Knowing how much you cover stuff from lesser-known games, I had hope that you would one day get to Crosscode, and I was very happy to see Lea's silhouette at the end of the last cover. But I didn't think it'd be a two-for-one! Splendiferous!
Definitely a banger rendition of Crosscode's battle music and S-Rank Battle music. I really like how post-launch, they updated the game and added the S-Rank Battle music alongside visual and mechanical changes. It made S-rank go from just a thing you were doing sometimes and nothing special to "GET HYPED AND NEVER STOP!" while making enemies respawn much faster, thus making grinding a lot more exciting and less tedious. Sorry, Emilie.
No mercy for you, Emille. Sometimes, in the thick of combat, you have to get over your fears.😆 And yes, that S-Rank music just invokes *Overdrive Mode* in my gameplay in a heartbeat. Almost as if I become faster, stronger, and more aggressive with my attacks when it comes on.
Damn, I barely heard the start of the remix and I'm already unleashing full combos. That makes me want to go back in CrossCode and use the remix for EVEN MORE INTENSE FIGHTS! This is amazing!
