The rules should come with warhammer+ at a minimum. The digital points is because 40k people were cheating to build 2400 point armies and saying they were 2k. Why, no idea. I agree, it is stupid, but this is so they can sell those books. As the largest eBook and audiobook publisher in the entire state of Florida, they have a problem. Those books are expensive to make unless you make 20,000 of them in one batch. Now you gotta move 20k of them. In due time, the printed battletomes will vanish. All the content in them will vanish too. It simply is them refusing to let them die because good people are employed to make them.

It baffles me that I have to pay for Warhammer + for the mere PRIVILEGE of accessing the app. Every other piece of content is locked behind buying an expensive physical book that I won't use because SUPRISE! I'm using the app! Make it make sense, James Workshop.

@@FreshOutThePrison There is a great video as to why Age of Sigmar happened. Basically, if they can't generate revenue, the game system dies. They're bottlenecked on printing, but that should change with second factory, so I expect them to focus on more slinging models. The question becomes, how do they get you to sign up for +. For you and me, the answer is great content that rivals netflix. The reality is, that is simply too far off. So they %$*# us with microtransactions to fund their operations so they can expand and keep people employed. In the end, I get it. I could be salty, I have ever right to be. Instead I will try to be positive and understanding my money is keeping the game alive and people in UK employed.

@@marcussloss6937 Or just realize that not every company needs a + streaming subscription. The rules will be spoiled on Wahapedia and Telegram anyway, so their best market case would be to back to cheap black and white paperback army books to make us feel like we're getting a great deal instead of hardcovers full of expensive full color art and rules that will be need to be FAQed anyway. If they went back to $25 paperback army books we'd all act like GW was giving us a huge blessing, I'd buy them rather than surfing the dark web trying to find the rules because I have bought EIGHT armies worth of AoS models.

It should be free or much cheaper as a 1 time digital purchase. Players need to know the rules.
