    The problem with this video is that the industry has no interest in "yard trees". Commercial operations are looking for acreage they can harvest. The very small scale milling operation that might take on your single tree from your yard cannot afford to pay you much and is saving you a significant amount of money if they will take it away for free. Yard trees frequently contain metal, from bird houses or feeders, tree houses, fences, etc. and that included metal can wreck a saw blade that might be priced around the commercial market value of the tree. Unless you can do your own value adding, a couple of trees here and there generally won't have any market value to speak of.

      @@donchristie420 it also says "how much is my log worth?" So if you're not actually looking for that information I guess you can rephrase to "how much is my log worth to the industrial market?". Of course, that generally works out to a fraction of the potential value. And people have some right to know that.

    Ok?......i have looked at nothing but the photo of the log.... assuming its solid i will say at canadian prices that logwet it is obviously a pine worth,.... canted up..and 5quartered..$289.00 WET is m y guess
