I like the video - but it doesn't explain the advantage of the enhanced vs the standard ISSU upgrades nor whether there are other possible downsides/upsides to boot mode lxc. (The latter is probably out of scope, but surely the former is not.)

Do we have to copy the code on the second supervisor if we do a non-issu upgrade?

Is the standalone nxos.9.3.8 software the same software you use to upgrade a vPC pair of switches?

@@CiscoSystems I think I should be ok here then. I actually only have customers on Nexus 93180YC - EX or FX. Sounds like I can do the "non-disruptive" on the secondary to 9.3(8) and then the Primary to 9.3(8). After that jump, I can load the EPLD code, which IS disruptive, but in vPC mode that should be fine.

After running this command "show install all impact nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.10.bin non-disruptive "
    Compatibility check is done:
    Module bootable Impact Install-type Reason
    ------ -------- -------------- ------------ ------
1 yes disruptive none linecard hardware does not support non-disruptive upgrade Images will be upgraded according to following table:
    Module Image Running-Version(pri:alt) New-Version Upg-Required
    ------ ---------- ---------------------------------------- -------------------- ------------
    1 nxos 9.2(3) 9.3(10) yes
    1 bios v05.33(09/08/2018):v05.33(09/08/2018) v05.47(04/28/2022) yes
it says disruptive.. we have two 93180YC-EX running vPC Will this impact the traffic if we upgrade ?

Cisco Nexus 9000 - Version 9.3(10) having high severity bug... go with 9.3(11) fixed version
CSCwc43397 - Memory leak in nginx process
CSCwc97953 - N9K Switch reloads due to SNMP process crashes after SNMP server reloads
      CSCwc40911 - Memleaks in VPC (MCECM_MEM_fu_mts_wrap_t+ from mcecm_get_mts_wrap) after removing/recovering VPC

Upgrade will cause a traffic disruption. Since your line card hardware will not support non-disruptive upgrade
