Rob Benedict (Chuck) didn't have his stroke til 2013, over a year after season 8. The Stroke happen at on the last day of SPN Convention Toronto in October of 2013. Cast mates rallied round to help, especially, Rich Speight Jr, Misha Collins, and Jensen Ackles, who helped get him to hospital, saving his life! Rob recovered completely, due to support of cast mates, fandom, and a lot of hard, determined work from himself. He MC's the SPN Conventions, with Richard Speight Jr. and he, and his band (Louden Swain) play a gig every Saturday night at the SPN Convention.
I love this episode! Not just because Cas is back but because the brother stop their stupid feud. Dean isn’t being hostile and is actually opening up about how he feels. Sam isn’t boring & brooding plus all the tension from last episode and the season just isn’t here and I love it!
Naomi! Aka Dr. Samantha Carter ... that's now the 3rd StarGate actor, this time playing a major role! I don't remember if we get more though, she may be the last ... xD
Really great ep! Dean's felt responsible for everything since John told him Sam's life and safety is his responsibility, so to see that his mind altered what happened in purgatory cause he couldn't live with the fact that Cas was the one to let go hurrrrrttts.
Kevin, Linda and Garth sound like an unstoppable team, I would not want to get in their way 😂❤ I like this episode quite a lot; having Cas, Crowley and the Trans in one episode was nice, and I've missed Cas and Crowley's interactions. I also really like Dean and Cas' conversation at the end, with Cas sort of taking completely ownership of what happened, for what Dean blamed himself for. It's also interesting how Dean misremembered what happened; for Dean, it was easier to accept more blame and shame than to accept "abandonment" by a loved one, I think. The way Cas was reintroduced was a little weird, wish they had done that differently. Not sure exactly what I would like best, maybe an episode cliffhanger where we see Cas being mysteriously back. I actually would have liked it if Cas had avoided the brothers initially out of shame, maybe see him interacting with some humans, maybe trying to find out why he is back, and then him seeing the news of the disappearance of a future prophet, and finally going to the brothers to tell them about that. Regardless, I'm glad he's back!
Entertaining reaction as usual. ive mentioned before some of the things i enjoy about your reactions one i wanna add is your eye for detail. Ive rewatched these several times over the years but you always find stuff i never noticed before. also your life lessons... 'give people their roses' loved that. looking forward to the next one.
My heart breaks for Cas, he has so much regret & guilt over everything he did in Season 6 that he believes he needs to do penance. When Cas met Dean the first time he told him " You don't think you deserve to be saved" ... And now it's reversed.
I really love this episode but then again I love every episode that has Cas in it 😂 and Dean's brain literally rewriting the way he lost Cas so he can more easily cope with losing Cas always gets me. I do wish that instead of giving us the purgatory flashbacks broken up and bit by bit they would've given us a whole purgatory episode instead because I do really love that whole arc
You are skipping almost all Destiel moments, it's physically hurting me 😂 Jk, it's okay, but they really bonded on another level in this season, it's nice to see it

Not hairy enough, sure...but that back, and those thighs..~makes noise that's impossible to spell ` There was one year that he got a little soft around the edges..the year Daneel had JJ..2013 I think. Jensen also put on a little baby weight.
