I've started my SpecOps campaign a month back - we've made some changes: - Each player can bring two Teams, so we don't get bored (ideally thematically similar - like Phobos and Intercession) - One operative from each time starts the campaign with 6XP (to gain first battle Honor) - Each time player completes a game, he can award 7XP to the Team that wasnt used for that game (model with least XP must be prioritized) - so the other team doesn't get left behind. We too use Critical ops Tac Ops and deployment rules.
Such a great episode. As fan of Inquisitorial teams, it was tough watching them get trounced, but nonetheless thrilled to see where the series goes. Keep up the great work.
Very interested in seeing this play out. I've been part of an ongoing spec-ops campaign that hasn't made any modifications to the rules, except that we're using the Critical Ops deck for the underlying game rules. EXP is slow but it's worked out fine for us, just encouraging us to play more matches. Seeing how some players choose to accentuate strengths with their spec-ops decisions, while others have bolstered their team's weaknesses has been the most interesting strategy point for me. We're just reaching the point where the value of Battle Honors and rare equipment is really starting to shine so we're excited for the next round of matches.

Spec-ops are great i wish that gw would update them to include either the core tac-ops or the crit ops to make it more fun for copendium teams.
