So I just discovered the numbuzin #3 toner.
    OMFG🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
It’s my new favorite toner! It’s perhaps the most nourishing toner I’ve ever used, and I’ve used some high end brands😂
Between this toner and the Tirtir toner (also a recent discovery) my 56yo mature dry skin is staying hydrated despite our extended cold snap! (We’ve been well below 0°F for the past two weeks). I’m so happy to have found these!

Hi Pamela glad to hear that you’re enjoying the No3 toner. Some say that they dislike the smell of it. I actually like that smell. How you finding it? I haven’t tried the Tirtir toner. You made me curious now. Stay glowing and well wrapped up 🧡🙂

@@oneeyebeauty I am new to K beauty, but my daughter and I recently went to a Korean skincare store in our city and she bought me some products of BoJ. I only tried the eye cream thus far but it looks good. My daughter is a beauty specialist with her own salon. She is thinking of using Korean skincare in her salon and now we are looking for a good brand, that has different lines for different skin types and products without alcohol ( fragrance is less of a problem. ) . But there are sooooo many options, and it takes a lot of time to do some research. If you would have some recommendations that would be very helpful. Greetings and blessings.

Hi again@@margreethakkerman4026 Sorry for my late reply, I've been away on holiday to Spain. Yes there are thousands of Korean skincare brands so it would be hard to choose. If she's a professional I would recommend her to visit a K-beauty expo in Korea if possible? I believe that it happens every year in October, and in May there's also a Cosmopolitan beauty expo in May. I've been to the Cosmo one, and did find a spa skincare brand called Fau. fau.co.kr This is a luxury spa brand with really unique ingredients so would suggest for your daughter to look into it. Hope this was helpful. If I do find out any other spa brands, will let you know 🙂

Hi Helen, sorry about my late reply. Tbh I don't know many K-beauty products with tretinoin as I believe that tretinoin is used mostly in prescribed skincare products in Korea. I do suggest retinol for anyone aged over 40 so you could start with a low percentage of retinol first before using tretinoin..? Out of K-beauty options you could try low-percentage retinol products like innisfree - Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule or SOME BY MI - Retinol Intense Reactivating Serum. The Ordinary sells a wide range of different retinol percentage serums as well so you could try that even. I use The Ordinary 0.5% retinol with squalene and it's great. Using retinol consistently for 6 mths-1 year should improve your fine lines and wrinkles. 🙂

Hello lucky friend! Wish my skin could tolerate high-strength retinol! Even though I'm hooked to K-beauty I do like The ordinary retinol serums. They have a nice range to suit all levels. If I were you, I would go for retinol 1% with squalane (a good ingredient to reduce the appearance blackheads) or retinoid 2% emulsion. Could even use both as one is a serum and the other is an emulsion (light cream-like formula). Curious to know if you've been using retinol and gradually increased its level or went straight to a higher percentage and discovered that your skin was fine..?? 🙂

Hi John thank you for sharing your thoughts! Goodal is a really good serum but yes it can be a bit strong with those you’ve mentioned. I actually didn’t know that it has lavender as well though. I’m really sensitive to a smell of lavender but didn’t notice..! I’m going to pretend that I didn’t hear this 😂 (don’t feel bad as I’ll probably still use it as its just too effective..!)

@@oneeyebeauty Ha, thank you for responding! We'll just pretend I didn't say anything. After all, if it's working for you, then keep on going! I wish I didn't have those sensitivities so I could try more things. Enjoy!

I never use Soy of any kind on my skin because most of the soy bean produce globally is GMO and it also interacts similares estrogen which is not a good idea for any female. The skin is our largest organ and everything you put on it will be part of your metabolism.

Hiya, what you apply on your face is only a small amount but that is a good point about GMO soy.

You have very different skin to an average British woman ..our skin is much finer and thinner..not really comparable to skin of Korean people..

Hiya! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree that some Koreans naturally have thicker and firmer skin but not everyone though and certainly not me as well. I have much more weaker and thinner skin, so up close you can even see my blood vessels. This is not shown on the camera so maybe that’s why you thought my skin is thick and firm perhaps..? With my thin, sensitive and dry skin, skincare is a real challenge so that’s why I look into a lot of ingredients and try out many to find the best ones that work for me! And sharing some of the tips and great products I found to help others as well is the most rewarding thing! Hopefully we can help each other 🙂💚
