Yes, or that synthetic sounding orchestra that a lot of game soundtracks on Ytube have. This feels like a real orchestra and faithful adaptation of the game’s music
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 It's honestly a good 90% of Castlevania music. This is honestly the most refreshing and gorgeous content ever. Keep up the amazing work
Beautiful renditions of all these classic songs. From those three games, my favorites from each are Heart Of Fire, Bloody Tears, and Aquarius. As a kid, Castlevania was the NES series that made me love game music. I transcribed so many tracks from those three games to piano, because I wanted to appreciate them more. So thank you for all these arrangements; they all ring that nostalgia bell hard. 🦇🧛⚰🏰
Pure greatness!! Pure greatness!!!!! One of the most amazing things is that, somehow, we can "hear" those clarinets and harpichords in the very same key parts of the original NES renditions, and they were played using slight variations of the same basic waveforms.
Man… Heart of Fire is really something else. For years my favorite vgm has been from Castlevania II but this song is so dramatic. I think it’s about to take the number one spot.
I've heard many a rendition of Castlevania music over the years, but your symphonic arrangements are by far the best i've come across. Should they ever do a remaster of the original trilogy they should just use your work and pay the royalties 😁 Well done!
Definitely had to share this one on the socials. Truly a perfect playlist for background music and just in general. All 3 games and their music are pure nostalgia. Hopefully everyone else who stops here feels the same! Great work!
Amazing as always! Thank you a lot! I'll surely return to this video a lot to listen to your amazing arrangements during worktime. I'm still excited for more Castlevania remixes in the future: themes such as Iron Blue Intention from Bloodlines or Praying Hands from the second GB game do deserve the amazing treatment you give to those tracks! Keep uploading these remixes individually, this is sure to get you more views and new people coming to your channel!
Yes I will still upload the individual tracks, but I think big and long compilations like that are good to increase total view time, which is also good for the algorythm:)
This was definitely not what I expected, but a welcome surprise. Especially fitting given how it's October as of now and hence Halloween is coming up. The Castlevania franchise is known for the eerie yet epic style it often aims for, and your trilogy of remakes has certainly lived up to that. I don't know if you managed to see my comment in the last video, as it contained a link (which are occasionally hidden to prevent spambots) to the first overworld theme in one of my favorite nes rpgs, and considering you managed to do the 2nd overworld and main battle motif, I believe you may be interested in checking it out.
Yeah it is awseome...unfortunately not made by me...it is AI generated. I'm not super fan of that stuff...but I accepted that I need to use it to stay in the game.
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 Hey, thank you for sharing your perspective at least! I’m glad to be supporting someone who still values human input. Everyone loves fan art too, if you’d ever consider that.
I wish you hadn’t omitted Deja Vu from the lineup. I know it’s essentially the same as Vampire Killer, but there are some subtle melodic changes that make it worth including in my opinion.
I love metal covers, but it is true that it has been made very often, that is why I chose not to do it. As a Metal guitar player, I think I could make some of the tracks sound very good though:)
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 Most of the "Metal" that I hear in these covers sound like pop to me. Just a big turn off. I'd love to hear something that sounds more than that
I'm less familiar with the music in the latter half of Castlevania 3 because I never got that far in the game LOL. One path ended at "Rising" (Curse Castle) and another at "Nightmare" (The Abandoned Mines) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The answer is simple...I love doing this stuff, but it takes time and If it were'nt for the few people who support me on patreon, This channel would have been dead for years now...even though it doesn't bring me much , it is just enough to keep me motivated to keep doing it.
Finally. Not the Typical metal arrangements.

Beautiful.
That would be awesome! :)

The character in the thumbnail is so heroic-looking! He looks like a mixture between Gabriel and Simon.
