Alot of people want to say MM3 was best in series, but it was MM4 that truly took the story to the next level and having an awesome OST really helped. Might be one of best OST's in the entire original NES library. After 30 years, I still get the feels from Cossack 2nd Stage, Wily 2nd Stage and Final Boss tracks.
Seriously every single track is fire 🔥 A lot of people sleep on V too, man I love those tunes as well. They’ve all just got epic music but number four really is a cut above!
@@AaronRinggenbergyears ago I shamelessly used the riff in Cossack II. It’s a total melodic sounding metal riff. All these tunes are clearly meant to be heard on an electric guitar. Gotta love that 8bit sound though!

Skull man's drum line feels like it's off beat for half the song, with the snare on 1 and 3 instead of 2 and 4. I can't figure out why they decided to do that.

I was playing the console called "Family Game" in Argentina, a cheap copy of the actual NES but you could play all NES cartridges anyway. and playing Megaman 4 this was the first time in my live where I actually realized just how fucking cool and addictive some of these themes are. ♥

This Mega Man had a completely different sound in the instruments, drums etc. It's neat but I kinda hate the select theme (rest of the soundtrack is EXCELLENT though). I'd would love to know how this whole thing would sound like with the regular instruments!
There are very few bad tunes here, and what is good are the most complex rhythms ever in a MM game. My personal favorite MM game, and the ost is only behind MM9 in my opinion.
Overall the MM4 soundtrack was very disappointing compared to the previous two games. What made it worse was that the music completely siliences out whenever the life meter or weapons meter charges up, which disrupts the flow of enjoying the music.
no way! mm4 has some of the best onoes in the series, like skullman, brightman, diveman cossac 1 . and the Opening theme and animation is the absolute best! its my personal fav game of all MM
