Wanted to leave a comment which I seldom do- there are some excellent moves in this video, I’ve seen serious $ and many play offs won and lost for the lack of understanding just how significant and how deadly some of these leaves are. I almost hate seeing them given away for free LoL it took me decades and several leagues to learn how important these shots are especially tighter pockets ..the tighter the pocket the more they matter! And learn how to answer these …just as important to have some skills to answer them. I’ve lost count of really decent players who just BANGED very low percentage banks hoping to escape the leaves. 🎉🏆
Glad you are back making these vids. Really like the 3rd safety shot you demonstrated. Also love getting into a good safety battle. It is like playing chess.
Glad to see you making the videos again. I watched all of yours years ago when you were just a kid. You have developed into a very good player. I met you several years ago at the Super Billiards Expo.
I like the theme of this video. Enjoy watching safety vids, as I'm a new barely-average player. Would enjoy if you continued these with safeties for 1-ball and 2-balls remaining in 8-ball games. Also games where the 8 is precariously close to the corner, sometimes inside other balls, sometimes outside. These come up often enough and how people handle them determines the winner. Sometimes waiting it out, making the other player make the mistake is often the winning strategy. One player might keep tapping around an extra ball but missing hoping other player will make the mistake. I've seen better players go ahead and pocket their opponent's free ball to force the situation, which is smart.
My man! Appreciate the safety video. It helps my game to play safe at times and these examples are good shots to add to my practice routine. Which gives me an idea for a video suggestion: what does a good single practice session look like? What is included, how long is it and how often? What about a weekly routine? I believe people would benefit from an example. Thanks again…
Idk , it's better to swing than get swung at and that 1st bank would probably be your best shot you see , id suggest a two way shot at least once with a good cueball
This made me feel safe

love your videos
Welcome Back
Could you please demonstrate a safety play if our opponent miss the break in 9 ball?
