    One thing often overlooked and worth mentioning, is breathing control. Much like shooting a gun, bow, anything of the sort.
    I find my shotmaking improves greatly when I focus briefly on my breathing, steady smooth breaths, slight pause before the shot, same as one would do before pulling the trigger, so to speak.
    Helps increase focus, eliminate jerkiness and overhitting the ball, etc, as well as helping greatly with the mental aspect and dealing with pressure or stress.

      Good point - breathing exercises can work really well when the pressure gets too much.
