Liam is certainly a very lucky young man, I hope he appreciates how hard his dad has worked to have a job like this and thus enable Liam to gain all these amazing experiences many adult divers can only dream of.
I'm sure once he gets older he will! As a kid/teenager they don't fully realize what their parents have sacrificed for them yet. Wait until they're in their early 20s 😅
No one realizes their life is different until they start comparing.
I have a diver friend whose kids are now in their late 20s and early 30s. He used to take them on diver trips all the time when they were still in high school and college. They never appreciated the privilege they had...until they had to start paying for their own dive trips!!

This kind of content is pretty much gone from television these days. Everything is super over hyped and ridiculous!

One of my most recent dive trips and I have to say I was totally surprised by how fabulous it is. Cordeca (the corvette) is also stunning. Can't wait to go back

Fascinating video! I’m quite surprised how much of this shipwreck is preserved. My favourite shipwreck was the American Star off the coast of Fuerteventura; it had a fascinating history and became an incredible sight, though it’s now collapsed and broken up into the sea.

That is a pretty nice dive boat, real seats so you don't have to sit on your gear, a covered deck, and Christmas tree ladders. I wish we could get move dive boats to discover the greatness of Christmas tree ladders, they are great.

I can echo this. I dived with Rhea last month and their catamaran is one of the most comfortable dive boats I used ever.

It's unfortunate in the great lakes the zebra muscles have made it to lake Michigan and possibly Erie or Huron but not Superior. And that has caused problems for the historic ship wrecks in the area. It's a real shame 😢
I wonder what kind of countermeasures we could pursue. Something that could help eradicate the Zebra Mussels on a wide scale without causing undue harm to the environment. Maybe something like that thing they're trying with mosquitos, introducing a gene that causes sterility after a few generations and inserting them into the local populations in areas where they're invasive?
@@BDNeon I know there are currently ways to harvest zebra mussels and turn them into some sort of chemical, but the process is time consuming and costly, and does nothing to eradicate the threat. I really hope we can find a way to get of the species in our lakes. They’re such a nuisance.
@@BDNeon I have heard they are pursuing a counter measure with the lamprey issue as those are also in the Great Lakes and I am unsure as to what extent . Something along the lines of what you're describing but as mentioned these processes are costly and time consuming. I know that they have some sort of locking gate system installed to keep the Asian Carp out of the Great Lakes.

Very similar to SV Superior Producer in Curaçao. Except the water is way warmer lol... You should check it out. It can only be dive when no cruise ships are at pier.

When are you going to try the rebreather out again?
Many of the episodes we are releasing now were filmed before the rebreather training. Sometimes we go someplace on a long trip and film half a dozen episodes, and they get released over a period of a year. So our release schedule is not really in any kind of chronological order. Our next video (coming out May 20) was shot with rebreathers. We are about to go on a big trip to Truk to dive rebreathers as well.

personally I still think those ship wrecks are a faulty sign of dispiriting formula, bad for nature,bad for fish and other aquatic integrity bad for all in lifecycle including meal related deviation.

How come Elisa is unable to be a part of this scuba dive shipwreck adventure? Which scuba is Christine, and which is Liam? How would be you to explore the Empress of Ireland, Lusitania, Andrea Doria, and/or Brittanic? I hope that you'll be able to have Elisa on the next scuba dive adventure you go, as you have your family with you.
Elise didn't feel like diving that day (was having problems with her ear) so she did the above water camera work. You can hear her talking sometimes.
