Green bottle was possibly a pop /mixer that was similar to 7up and sprite . Bubble Up I think it was called. Small thing with loop on end.... Old style sardine can roller to open the can lid. Really good finds today.

It blows my mind, how much trash is in that one area, alone. It's heartbreaking, and revolting. Thank you for cleaning it up. Just be super careful, walking around in waders in there. You've pulled up so many nails, don't let them get stuck in your foot!

The item with the ball in it was a tie down used to tie your boat to the dock

The wire pieces with the loops at either end actually hook together. They form the base for a foam mattress on a fold up cot/bed. They hook together to form squares. A lot of interesting and unusual items today. Great fun.
That green bottle looks like it might be an old Fresca bottle.
I’m going with Bubble Up, which was Coke’s version of 7up. The really old Coke bottles have the city they were bottled in embossed on the bottom.

You had the rest of that bottle at the end and you washed the pieces away with the mud!!!✌🐢

Those bottles can bring in some money you look at the bottom and you should be able to find the pat. # makers mark and made by date. I once found a Pepsi bottle under the mess hall in Korea (Korea war Era) when I was there it was so kewl. The one with the ribs on it is an old coke bottle, the other green one, no clue.
If you look on the bottom of the coke bottle you will see what Coca cola plant the bottle came from.

Probably when my grandpa almost died, from drinking a coke back in the day, he wouldn’t touch a soda, except root beer , or a ginger ale !!
The skinny hammer is a tack hammer. I have my grandpa’s from the 40’s. It is so useful for tiny nails and delicate hammering. His has an oak handle.

Yes there is a lot of old stuff in that river, because people have been tossing stuff into such rivers for over 100 years.
The types of stuff you pull out can tell you how old the river is.
You pull some items from the water that I would enjoy restoring and having to use in everyday life.

Our first magnet fishing spot this spring is going to be off of broad street. With the water so low. I’m hoping to find a herra beverage soda bottle.
You should get yourself like a plastic sled that you can tie a rope onto. You can toss your metals in it on the bank and then pull it up the Rocky hill to your wagon. It would save you a lot of time and energy running back-and-forth to get your metal up.

I don't know what it is called but the thing you caught with the marble in it is a old fashioned hookless dish towel hanger. It attaches to the wall with a nail with the marble down, then push up the marble, insert the towel, then press the marble back in place to hold the towel. You should clean it up and hang it in your kitchen. Great vids buddy.

Those bottles brought back memories of childhood. Yes, we had glass bottles that could easily be returned to collect the deposit, so they could be cleaned and processed for further use. Now we have plastic waste. I don't call that progress.

You know, they used to use paper sacks and cardboard boxes for packing our groceries, but they decided they would save the trees and use plastic bags. Now, they are using paper sacks again, shrinkflation has made them smaller and flimsier, so they tear more easily. Sorry, I went off on a tangent, the glass bottles had me reminiscing about those days when things were a bit simpler than now.

That pole with the hooks is part of an old flagpole. That also could explain the bundles of rope. The piece with the white ball is a old wall mounted paper holder. You would push your paper is the ball wpuld lift up the slide back down to hold the paper.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching you, magnet fish this area, in what is obviously loaded with with very old vintage treasures. Please do another visit to this location. The clear water was awesome for us too. Great finds ❤

Dude when I was about 7 or 8 I lived in Washington and beer bottles where small brown bottles with a raised ring around the neck of the bottle you got like 2 cents f I r them. Just to let you know if you find any like that. They are at least 68 years old.

Speaking from experience We used to use old tires tied along the side of our boat dock As a bumper for the boat! And just curious but..have you had a tetanus shot!? Phenomenal finds today Tyler. The green glass bottle is from Canada Dry Ginger Ale. The white piece that looked it had a handle maybe a piece from the back of a very old fridge.
