I got given one of the autos last year, I've beat the crud outta it and it still works like it did the day I got it. I've been pleasantly surprised, no real complaints, plus they warranty it forever.
I have a Cobratec/Boker collaboration. It’s a hidden bolster auto w/carbon fiber inlay and D2 drop point. It’s a nice knife, kinda cool bolster release and there’s nothing wrong with a Boker collab either. I’ve seen them at booths at some knife shows and they always have some nice products.
The Cobratec Light weight OTF is the Exact same internals as the Lightning Elite I have both and Put the Cobratec D2 Tanto blade in my Lightning Elite and vice versa. They Literally have the same Part number on the Slide/Spring Bar. A little added advice the Cobratec Parts/Blade will not Work for the O.G. Lightning OTF.
I can't comment on the other knives, but that Wolverine one (folding liner lock version) can be found on Amazon as Guardian Eagle for under 20 bucks. Böker Magnum also has that knife as the Skesis. Finding that out ruined it for me, as I really liked it when I saw the Böker one. I might get the cheap 20 dollar one just because I actually do like the blade shape.
Ive got their titanium m390 pivot actuated liner lock knife (reminiscent of the truffles lock) that was in the $200 range and its turned out to be a pretty solid knife
I want to see a review on the Cobratec Barracuda and/or Prodigy m390. They have a pivot button lock that looks really cool. Not a single video on TH-cam though...
Love your videos! What would be the best blade steal to use for a lineman that strips large copper and aluminum wire daily? Mainly to hold the best edge.
I pick up one of thier otf. Cheapest one I own. Have to say the action has been solid. Blade doesn't hold and edge well at all. The finish on the MAGNESIUM (not aluminum) wears off as soon as you start to carry them. Poor materials but good action.
Shiney Red Aluminum n Creamy Khaki is Stop n Go..7-11..Qwick Mart to me…Wether it is or not. I got hit in the head with a brick which makes wanna say sh:t….Like that. Cheers

I just picked up their OTF utility knife and really like it so far

As someone who had a job handling customer knife repair there is no brand that surpassed them in malfunctions and catastrophic failures
I’m a big fan boy of CobraTec Knives, I have many including the Wolverine fixed blade and auto OTS. CobraTec is a great knife and I’ll keep buying!

Is that the Prodigy or Barracuda? I've been wanting to see a review on them, but no one has one...

That fixed blade is the exact guardian eagle knife from amazon but bigger.
I'd love to see what you think about the otf utility knife they sell
Got a Cobratex OTF, it’s ok. Size of a combat Troodon but probably twice the weight and the finish flakes off really easy.
Ive been having one of these OTFs in D2 from a gun show years ago with my grandpa. Bout time someone else buys them lol

Rex 121 or mexamet or magnacut
It's unbelievable how many knife makers is out there
The funny thing is that they probably all come from a small handful of facilities in China.
BANG!
I have a couple autos from them, including a hidden bolster release auto. Cheap but ok. Just ok.
I'm not a fan but I know alot who are happy. Mine feel apart like a sneaker in boot camp.

Cobratech is to knives what hi-point is to firearms.

Little lithium grease on the spring carrier will quieten it down
