Congrats on the 5k man, you’re crushing it. Quick TH-cam setup question. Do you enjoy having the microphone on the boom arm or if you could change it, would you prefer to boom a mic overhead?

As far as the mic on the boom arm I really like it because it knocks a lot of background noise and my “heavy” breathing haha all this hot gear gets me breathing hard hahha jk but I have the ride wireless mic as well and a mic that can go on top of the camera. I go back and forth and have yet to figure out what way I like most. I’d love to upgrade to and over head one eventually tho
@ good point about the proximity, I wouldn’t have thought of it. It would definitely help. I’m using an inexpensive seElectronics sE7 pencil mic (overhead) but am always trying to improve 🍻 cheers man, keep up the good work.
@ I made some DIY sound panels with Rockwool Insulation that really seemed to help with the room reverb. Much less expensive than the store bought version helps too lol

Out of all Vox designs that one hands down is just “mmmm” I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s a perfect blend of a few other knives he designed and it just speaks to me haha

The stream light 1L-1AA protac is an awesome edc. Also, I love it them are some sweet edc lights you have also
I need to pick one up and check it out. The stream light has been on my list but I’ve got some lights that keep taking my attention haha

Your original pack was better and def more carry-able. The sling is cumbersome and a nuisance to drag around
Each day is a bit different I have a feeling I may also use the small pouch and then drop it into the sling as well
